Trelugas enjoys the most spectacular views down the valley to the river below. This detached cottage was converted from the c. 200 year old stone stables over the winter of 2012-13.

Enter the cottage from the old stableyard into the spacious open plan living room with vaulted ceiling, comfy sofa and arm chairs, 42” TV, DVD, CD/radio/iPod dock, glass-fronted log burner and huge French doors and leading on to the terrace with steps down to your garden.

The oak floor extends from the main sitting room to the fully-equipped open-plan kitchen and farmhouse table. Through the kitchen is a utility room with adjacent WC and a back stable door.

To the right of the front door, follow the hallway with the big-glass windows (mimicking the old stable entrances), you will find first the spacious family bathroom with big comfy bath, walk-in shower and large sink set into an antique pine dresser. Next is a single bedroom, then double room with zip-and-link superking or twins and finally the master bedroom with kingsize bed and ensuite shower room.

Because there are no stairs (only two mini-flights of 4 and 2 shallow steps up to the bedrooms, which can be shut off from the main part of the house) Trelugas is a good choice for young children or the more infirm. This light and airy cottage makes a fantastic home for a family of up to five.

There is a downstairs shower room and a spacious sitting room with a big elevated table, colourful wool rugs, antiques, leather sofas, arm chairs, freesat TV, DVD and hifi and a wide inglenook fireplace housing a glass-fronted wood burner

Leyland Farmhouse nestles in the most romantic setting the Cornish countryside could possibly offer.  You will arrive down a private tree-lined drive (shared only with Annie’s Cottage, a one bedroom property which is attached to Leyland Farmhouse), into a little farmstead with beautiful stone barn and outbuildings and private parking just near the house.

The house is a beautiful ancient stone farmhouse, restored expertly from a ruin in the 1970s by our family friends.  You have a private garden of your own, as well as use of the grounds (shared only with Annie’s Cottage), which include a lovely Orchard and large lawn with views over rolling hills to the sea.  The gardens are a treasure trove planted by a true garden lover 25 years ago and left to go wild in recent years.  We are gently taming it back to it's former glory, finding beautiful plants and features as we go.

You will enter the house through a large stone porch and into a hall.  To the right is a huge kitchen with high ceiling and original flagstone floor.  To the left of the hall is a second sitting room, followed by the main sitting room with log burner.

Upstairs, the master bedroom has a four-poster bed, the second bedroom has a zip and link superking/ twin, and the third is a small single room.  There is a large family bathroom upstairs with bath and shower (please note that this will be the ONLY bathroom in the house this summer and the house will therefore not qualify for 5* standard - two further bathrooms and downstairs loo will be added for 2022 to make it 5* like all our other cottages).

The house has central heating and is furnished with carefully chosen antiques, handmade soft furnishings, new suites and luxurious pocket-sprung beds.

Guests staying in Leyland Farmhouse will have access to all our facilities at Treworgey (which is a 5 minute walk across the field, or a 5 minute drive round the lanes) except the pool, as Leyland will have it's own semi-private pool just beside it!  This gorgeous little outdoor pool, shared only with Annie's Cottage, will be open from the last week in May to the middle of September

Annie’s Cottage nestles in the most romantic setting the Cornish countryside could possibly offer, just on the edge of Treworgey Farm.  You will arrive down a private tree-lined drive (shared only with Leyland Farmhouse, a 3-bedroom property to which Annie’s Cottage is attached), into a little farmstead with beautiful stone barn and outbuildings and private parking just near the house.

Annie’s is part of a beautiful ancient stone farmhouse, restored expertly from a ruin in the 1970s by our family friends.  You have a private garden of your own, as well as use of the grounds (shared only with Leyland Farmhouse), which include a lovely Orchard and large lawn with views over rolling hills to the sea.  The gardens are a treasure trove planted by a true garden lover 25 years ago and left to go wild in recent years.  We are gently taming it back to it's former glory, finding beautiful plants and features as we dig, trim and cut back.

Your private entrance at the back of the house brings you into a hall with downstairs loo on the right.  Straight ahead is your kitchen/dining room with new kitchen, granite worktops and underfloor heating.  From there, double doors lead into your sitting room/garden room (with log burner) which opens onto your private patio and garden.

At the top of the stairs, which lead from the kitchen/dining room, you’ll find a wood-floored landing with double-ended bath under the window.  A door leads from here to the bedroom, with king-size bed and en-suite shower room.

Annie's has central heating and has been completely renovated in 2021 and furnished with carefully chosen antiques, handmade soft furnishings, new suites, and luxurious pocket-sprung beds.
