This charming cottage was built in the 17th century and has retained many of its original features, with oak lintels, wooden beams it has plenty of character, here you go downstairs to bed!

When you sit in the window above the courtyard  there is a most spectacular view of rolling hills and beyond to the Atlantic Ocean.

The Haven has an open plan kitchen/lounge with a central wood burner with  FREE unlimited logs, take time to snuggle up with a book, hot chocolate or a glass of wine.

A fully equipped  kitchen with all your home comforts. Spacious lounge with views over to the stable.

Downstairs you will find a double bedroom with ensuite shower, toilet and basin,  twin room ( can be joined to form a king- size bed), bunk-bed room, a bathroom with bath, shower, basin and toilet.

All linen and towels are included, along with the heating and electricity. A laundry room is next to The Haven, with a washing machine, dryer and freezer.

The Old Granary has its own unique character, retaining many exposed beams, it is furnished to a high standard. To ensure your comfort at any time of the year the cottage is centrally heated and has a  new wood burner with FREE unlimited logs provided.

The kitchen boasts a lovely old pine table for those family occasions, it is fully equipped with all your home comforts.

The lounge has a wood burner, television & dvd.  Features incude a high wooden ceiling with French doors which open on to the courtyard.

Downstairs are two delightful bedrooms, a double and bunkbed room, toilet with basin. Upstairs is the king-size bedroom with ensuite shower, toilet and basin, also a bathroom and fourth bedroom with a choice of either twin beds or a king-size bed. All linen and towels are included.

A laundry room is next to the cottage, with washing machine, dryer and freezer.

Car arrival:
From the M5 Junction27 take the A361 to Barnstaple. Travel along this road for 3/4 hour and 2 miles before Barnstaple turn left to Landkey. Take the next left and left again. (over the A361) At the top of the hill bear left to Goodleigh. Go straight over the crossroads, following signs to Goodleigh. Turn right when you reach Goodleigh. Go past the pub, then turn left and go up to the top of the hill. At the top go straight on, ignore the right hand bend. Bampfield is at the bottom on the right.

Main road route, follow A361 to Barnstaple. Turn right at 1st roundabout, straight across the next 2 roundabouts, turn right at the next 2 roundabouts. Turn right at traffic lights to Bratton Flemming. Follow road out of town for 2 miles.Turn right to Goodleigh drive thorough the village turn left up Northleigh hill after passing the pub ( on your right) drive to the top of the hill. At righthand bend drive straight  follow sign to Bampfield, we are at the bottom of the hill on the right.
