A lovely Georgian family home set in the beautiful countryside of South Devon
Sleeps: up to 12 people in 7 bedrooms, with 6 bathrooms (4 ensuite), children/pets welcome, can connect with Farmhouse to sleep a total of 19.
This south facing Manor House in South Devon is a great holiday retreat for families or groups (Manor can sleep 12 single persons when beds are split). It’s a very spacious home with grand reception rooms and spacious bedrooms. Set over three floors, the rooms have charm and character and the dining room has a large inglenook fireplace.

Living: The spacious hall leads to an elegant drawing room seating twelve with deep comfy sofas and chairs. Features include a window seat, wood burner, stucco ceiling and original wooden shutters. 37’’ digital TV with built in Free view, DVD/video player and CD player with i pod dock.
The dining room is great for large dinner parties with a large Victorian mahogany table, seating 14 (20 in the room with use of other tables) and walk in inglenook fireplace. The farmhouse style kitchen has all the usual modern appliances, fridge, large double oven gas range, oil fired Rayburn, microwave, 22in Tv with Free View and dishwasher.
Bedrooms: The seven bedrooms are set over the 1st and 2nd floors of the house.
1st floor – 4 bedrooms - (3 rooms with front views)
Front views
Bedroom 1: Large room with French style Super king size (6ft x 6.6ft) bed with furnishings in keeping with this style. Large picture window with a seat and fine panoramic views.
Bedroom 2: Opposite side of the landing another large room with a zip & link King size (6ft x 6.3ft) bed or Twin, plus single bed, with ensuite shower/bathroom. Furnished in style with the property. Large picture window with seat overlooking the gardens.
Bedroom 3: Pretty single bedroom, front views.
Rear view
Bedroom 4: Twin room with ensuite bathroom.
2nd Floor – (3 rooms with front views)
Original Servants quarters but now pretty country style bedrooms with antique funiture and furnishings, simply charming throughout.
Bedroom 5: Large room with zip & link King size (6ft x 6.3ft) bed or Twin, with open plan ensuite bathroom - elegant slipper bath/washbasin, with wc in cubicle.

There’s a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, sink, fridge and fridge freezer. Plenty of space to store walking boots etc. Downstairs WC.
A cot will fit in all bedrooms, except Bedroom 7.
Stairgates - 3 pressure mounted gates are provided for you to install, where required. As doorways and stairs are very wide, extra blocks are provided.
Fireguard- We provide one very long fire guard for you to place where required.
