Odle Farm Holiday Cottages nestle amongst East Devon countryside within the Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, far away from the hustle and bustle of the town, yet just ten minutes from Honiton. Family run, the four self-catering cottages provide a wonderful base for couples or families, whether you enjoy walking, cycling, want a quiet weekend away or want to visit the numerous attractions the local area has to offer. Guests will also benefit from the use of facilities such as hot tubs (with wonderful views), table tennis, air hockey, darts and a pool table. Odle Farm is an ideal choice for a short break during the Autumn, Winter or early Spring as well as the longer traditional summer holiday. There are bridleways and footpaths to explore from the doorstep and the lovely beaches of the East Devon coastline, including the elegant resort of Sidmouth are within half an hours drive. Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks are also easily accessible making it a wonderful location for those who enjoy outdoor pursuits and who want to explore the many attractions of Devon, Somerset and Dorset. The Cathedral city of Exeter is only a short twenty five minutes journey away, whilst the local Market town of Honiton with its famous Lace making museum and abundance of Antique shops is a short ten minutes journey. Odle Farm is set in a peaceful position within ten acres of grounds and offers four superbly comfortable and beautifully furnished cottages clustered around a pretty courtyard. Jasmine and Wisteria cottage can accommodate parties of up to eight guests and have interconnecting doors which are double locked to ensure privacy when not in use. The village has a country pub (the Sidmouth Arms) which serves good home cooked meals and local ale. Escape from the rest of the world and spend a romantic short break, long weekend or honeymoon in Willow cottage overlooking stunning views of the Otter Valley.

This cottage was originally part of the old grain store which has been converted to a high standard to provide superb self catering accommodation for a couple.

Downstairs there is a fully equipped modern kitchen, a large lounge/diner and a cloakroom/toilet. Both rooms have far reaching views of the Otter Valley.

Upstairs is a beamed bedroom with a king size bed and en suite bathroom with power shower over the bath.

A large patio off the lounge is home to your own private hot tub and garden furniture.

After a gentle stroll in the surrounding countryside, enjoy an alfresco meal followed by a relaxing soak in the hot tub.

This part of the original Devon farmhouse has been converted into an idyllic two bedroom cottage offering a comfortable home from home for young families looking to get away from it all.

Downstairs Jasmine has a spacious sitting room with a wood burner and lovely views across the Otter Valley. The separate well equipped kitchen/diner looks out over the gardens and raised furnished patio - ideal for summer dining alfresco. There is also a cloakroom/toilet on the ground floor.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms, a light and airy double room and a single bedroom just across the landing. Both rooms overlook the pretty courtyard with views across the Otter valley. The family bathroom (new in April 2016) has a power shower over the bath.

Changeover Day is a Friday or Saturday but we try to be as flexible as possible out of the main holiday season.

This part of the original Devon longhouse is an idyllic beamed cottage overlooking Odle Farm's pretty gardens. This three bedroom cottage is particularly popular with larger families or a group of friends.

Downstairs Wisteria has a comfortable sitting room with a wood burner in the stone inglenook fireplace. For ambience rather than heat as the cottage has under floor heating.

The spacious, well-equipped kitchen/diner has everything you'll need during your stay and has access out to the patio and gardens.

Also downstairs there is a bedroom (which can be made up as two single beds or a king size double) and a cloakroom/WC.

Upstairs the master bedroom has an en suite bathroom and views over the pretty gardens. There is also a single bedroom and a shower room with toilet and basin.

Additional Directions Information

Travelling west from the south-coast Access A35 and travel in the direction of Honiton and Exeter. After the village of Kilmington (approx 6 miles before Honiton) look out for Taunton Cross junction (just before garage), turn right signposted Stockland & Dalwood. Follow over Stockland Hill (there is a tall TV transmitter – you can’t miss it)! At the crossroads with A30 go straight across to the village of Upottery. See directions from Upottery at bottom of page. Travelling West from A303 After entering Devon by the village of Marsh you will pass the Route 303 Restaurant on your left. The A303 and A30 converge; you then take the next right hand turning signposted for Upottery. See directions from Upottery at bottom of page. Travelling Southbound from M5 Leave M5 motorway at junction 25 (Taunton). Immediately take A358 in the direction of Ilminster. At junction with A303 (roundabout) go west on A303 towards Honiton. After entering Devon by the village of Marsh you will pass the Route 303 restuarant on your left. The A303 and A30 converge; you then take the next right hand turning signposted for Upottery. See directions from Upottery at bottom of page. Travelling East from M5 south – west Exit M5 Junction 29 signposted for A30 Honiton. Follow A30 to Monkton towards A303. Pass through Monkton and look for sign to Upottery/Rawridge. Turn left for Rawridge, Follow the road for approximately 1.6 miles through the village, and take the left hand turn immediately before the de-restriction sign into New Road (signposted to Otter Falls). See bold directions below. For all guests - directions from Upottery In the centre of the village at T junction by the war memorial (St Mary’s church on left, and Sidmouth Arms on right) turn left past the church. After half-a-mile, just past the sign for Rawridge take the next right hand turn which is New Road (signposted to Otter Falls). Go over the little river bridge and up the hill, (do not turn off this lane) continue up the hill for approximately ¾ of a mile (driving through Budgell Farm) until the Odle Farm signs are reached. Follow the road round the S bend and the entrance to the car park will be found on the left hand side, reception is located in the courtyard. Important note: The courtyard is a car-free zone. After unloading your belongings, please return your car to the car park – thank you. We recommend you follow our directions off the A30 as satellite navigation systems send you a not so friendly route!!
