Moorparks Holiday Cottages, the perfect place to start exploring Devon. Within easy reach of Dartmoor, Exmoor and the North Devon coast and Beaches.

A converted Grade II listed barn with vaulted ceilings and solid oak floors, doors and fittings. These self catering cottages are situated in the grounds of the owners Grade II listed house. 
Each cottage has two bedrooms, suitable for up to 4 people + 1 infant.
Moorparks Barn, the old hay barn, is reverse level accommodation and offers two bedrooms on the ground floor, one king-size and one twin. The bathroom is also on the ground floor. Stairs lead up to the lounge/diner, kitchen and cloakroom.
Outside, The Barn has a small patio area for morning coffee, a larger patio area for outside eating and a very private ‘Secret Garden’ with childrens playhouse. Moorparks Cottage was originally a traditional farm workers cottage.
The Cottage has one double bedroom and one King size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin). Downstairs is the lounge/diner and kitchen with an additional cloakroom. Outside, The Cottage has an outside eating area and a private garden with decking area overlooking one of the sheep paddocks with further seating. Both cottages have fully equipped kitchens, free Wifi and smart televisions.
All linen,  fuel included.  There is a large private off road parking area exclusively for guests.
Within the grounds are the owners Alpacas, Rare breed Greyface Dartmoor sheep, Swiss Valais sheep (Voted the worlds cutest sheep), pets and chickens. Guest are always welcome to come and feed or cuddle the animals. View our website for full details.

1 king-size and 1 twin. Ground floor bathroom. Stairs leading to the lounge/diner, kitchen and cloakroom.


• Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC, on the ground floor. Separate WC, on the first floor.


• Kitchen: with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer, DAB Radio with bluetooth.


• Outside: patio area with table, chairs and BBQ. Private garden with patio area and garden furniture, a playhouse with a toy Kitchen. Secure shed for your bikes, golf or fishing equipment. Garden games.


• Amenities: ample off-road secure parking. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included.


• Location: beach 16 miles, pub and shop 2 miles.

The views from the kitchen window are of farmland which extends to Exmoor (on a clear day). The door from the kitchen leads outside to the cottage garden and decking.
Sorry, No Dogs allowed (Not even small ones) as we have animals on site.

Additional Directions Information

From junction 27 on the M5, take the A361. Follow the A361 for 5.3 miles then take the exit for Tiverton. Turn left onto the small roundabout onto the A396. Straight over the small roundabout (Mcdonalds on the left) After 0.7m turn right towards the town centre. Straight over the next two small roundabouts, then under a bridge. At the next roundabout turn left towards Crediton. After about 3.3m you will see ‘The Trout’ pub/restaurant, take the right hand turn straight after this , signposted to “Crediton”. The ‘Fishermans Cot’ will be on your left. Go over the small bridge and keep left with the thatched cottage on your right. Follow this road for 8.4m and go right/straight at the small roundabout. You will pass a Morrisons supermarket on the right hand side. At the end of the road take a sharp right onto the A377. You should be going through Crediton high street now. Straight through the traffic lights at the end of the high street. After about 4.7 miles you will go through Copplestone village. Go through the traffic lights on the bridge and IMMEDIATELY turn right after the bridge towards Barnstaple onto the A377. After 1.9m turn left onto the B3220 towards: “Winkleigh, Torrington, Bideford” After about 8 miles you will go through Winkleigh. Through the village you will go around a very sharp left hand bend onto the A3124. After 5.3m there is a house on the right hand side…carry on. After a short while you will go along a very straight road, At the end of the road you will see three houses on the left hand side, SLOW DOWN and indicate (because there is someone behind you wanting to overtake). After the third house, we are 100feet up on the right hand side.
