Andrew and Jane welcome you to their lovely working farm where they have the of the most beautiful cottage, in the most stunning location overlooking Lundy Island and two of the UK’s best beaches, namely Putsborough and Woolacombe. The cottage has retained many original features that date back to the mid 19th Century with a woodburner, oak beams along with some lovely unique quirky bits.
The age of the cottage affords spacious rooms whilst offering everything todays multi-generational families require to make their holiday very special. It is equipped to a very high standard, with it's own private garden and parking. You also have private access through the fields to the beach, and we give you free parking at Putsborough Beach for the duration of your stay (worth £70).
Whilst staying with us you will experience country and coastal life all in one. The farm extends down to the South West Coast Path and to the fabulous beaches of Putsborough and award winning Woolacombe beach. It has been voted Best Beach in UK 3 times in the last 10 years.

Pickwell Barton Cottage, known as the Old Coachman's cottage, which backs onto the original stables (now our Pop-up Games room) The cottage sleeps 2 - 6, with 2 King sized bedrooms and a twin room, but can be linked to make a super-king, that offers you complete flexiblity for you and your family. There are 3 toilet/bathrooms, one is a shower room with toilet and washbasin, second has a shower over the bath, washbasin and toilet, the third toilet has a clockroom sink. The cottage is full of charm with orginal oak beams and the odd quirky low door! The cottage has it's own parking, a beautiful enclosed private garden, with spacious patio, gas barbecue, garden furniture and court yard.

There is also a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier, Fibre broadband, plenty of car parking on-site and complimentary car parking at Putsborough Beach all included when staying with us.

Georgeham village (1 mile) has two pubs serving delicious food, "The Rock Inn" and "The Kings Arms"; A garage, shop and post office, an easy stroll down the quiet county lane.

3/6/ This is our third year at Pickwell Barton Cottage & we have had a fabulous holiday again. The cottage is so lovely with so many extra touches not usually found in self catering rentals. Thank you Jane for the care you lavish on your guest. The scenery in this area is breath taking and with the weather we have had this week, has been idyllic. We had so much fun on the beach, lots of nice outings and our grand children are counting the sleeps until we return next year. Thank you, Jane & Andrew.
24/6/ Biggest, Best, Closest to the sea place we have ever stayed at. 4th time we have stayed in Devon and it’s the best. Will try to come again!
15/4/ What a lovely country holiday home to stay in. Jane & Andrew had thought of and provided everything you could use. Even the weather was kind. A lovely farm and relaxed feeling, what more could we have wanted. Thank you both and thank North Devon for the lovely places to visit.
