Pond Cottage is an annexe of our Victorian farmhouse, restored to a high standard with two ensuite bedrooms, set in the centre of working farm. Booking enquiries are welcome by email or phone. Flexible changeover days. Smart TV, electric hob and oven. Children are welcome, I don't supply a cot but you are welcome to bring a travel cot. Dogs and pets are welcome by arrangement only. An area of trees and grass is at the back for your use and a south facing small fenced patio area at the front with garden table and chairs. I do not have an online booking system, payment can be made by Credit or Debit Card, over the phone, or by Bank Transfer.

Pond Cottage is set in the centre of our busy working modern farm, an annexe of Pond House and once home to the farm workers. Equipped to a high standard, fitted kitchen, fridge/freezer, electric oven & hob, washing machine, microwave & dishwasher. Smart TV, Radio & good WiFi. Two Bedrooms, one has a King size double bed, ensuite and the twin room also has ensuite bathroom with a bath and overhead shower. Redecorated and fresh new bed linen and pillows Spring 2022, towels provided but not beach towels. Farm is mainly arable, with beef cattle in the farmyard in the winter and a few sheep in the summer on the reservoir banks. Public footpath through the farm and farm walks to take in woodland and ponds.

Excellant base for birdwatching, an area guide and information is provided and for exploring the Essex/Suffolk Coast. Beth Chatto, Marks Hall and Hyde Hall Gardens with in easy reach. Visit Historic Colchester, University & Zoo, Constable Country and the pretty villages of the Essex and Suffolk border nearby. We are 3 miles from seaside town of Clacton with Frinton and Walton nearby. Walton is reknowned for fossil hunting

Children & Babies are welcome but please bring your own travel cot & high chair, we have stair gate available. Dogs and pets welcome by prior arrangement only.

We farm with a Nature Friendly attitude, we have 5 wind turbines that supply the National Grid, the footpath walks takes you past them.

Car arrival: Follow the A12 to Colchester, A120 to Harwich then take A133 to Clacton on Sea, at the St Johns roundabout take the 4th exit, B1027 to St Osyth. After 2 miles turn right in to Earls Hall Drive. Continue to the end of the Earls Hall Farm lane and turn left through the farm buildings, Pond Cottage will be in front of you. Park at the rear on the gravel area
