A warm welcome awaits you at Nantcaw Fawr, nestling at the foothills of Cader Idris, a haven for anyone seeking peace and tranquility, with breathtaking views all around and only sheep for company ! on this rural working hill farm.

Dysynni valley offers excellent walking to suit all abilities from Cader Idris to Bird Rock for an easier stroll, or why not have a picnic along side a river bank! and relax.

A traditional farmhouse which is very well equipped, a large sitting room with inglenook fireplace and old beams, flat screen t.v along with childen's dvd's. A dining/reading room, 3 double bed rooms one with king size bed! and a single.Upstairs Bathroom with shower over bath, new for 2011 a downstairs shower room with toilet, basin and shaving point.

Kitchen is complete with dishwasher, fridgefreezer, microwave double cooker and many extras. Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer also ironing facilities. We offer a child friendly house with cot and high chair also stairgates,along with indoor and outdoor toys.

This working hill farm has a rugged feel and makes you want to explore more of the surrounding hills and valleys. Ideal for long walks. With Cader Idris on your doorstep. Down the valley is Bird Rock, famous for its inland nesting cormorants and amazing views of the local farms with the sea in the distance. The sea side towns of Tywyn( 5 miles) and Aberdyfi (7 miles) are wortha visit. The house offers 4 bedrooms. Bathroom with shower over bath. Large sitting room and quiet or dining room, a traditional kitchen to include dishwasher, fridge freezer and also utility room which has washing machine and dryer, and to keep any wet gear. Nantcaw is peaceful and relaxing, traffic free and children can explore. spot the wildlife, play in the sream and be totally safe. Try us for a memorable holiday!

Additional Directions Information

From A487 Machynlleth to Corris road, take B4405, follow road, passing Talyllyn lake and two hotels. Keep on road,turn right before bridge, follow narrow road, you will soon be looking down on Abergynolwyn village. Keep right again at junction, follow road, you will come to crossroads, take 2nd road to right of phonebox. Follow road, very rural  by now, over narrow bridge - passing two farms, uphill, keep going through two gates and you are there.
