Located within the private Landews Meadow Farm estate our beautiful cottages and chic Shepherds Hut provide high class facilities in an idylic country setting. Located in the Kent Downs AONB our cottages and hut provides an ideal base for enjoying Kent and for day trips to London and France.

Surrounded by open fields and woodlands which are alive with wildlife you will feel relaxed and revived after a break at Landews Meadow

The properties all have their own private gardens, BBQ and access to our natural swimming lake and the hot tub. The indoor games room provides somewhere for the kids to play on a rainy day and a full sized table tennis table.

The village of Challock has a post office / general stores a Barn Shop and a thriving pub / restaurant, all of which can be reached on foot. For those that don't want to cook on holiday you are spoilt for choice with 5 pubs serving great local produce within a short drive.

Our cottages are lovingly maintained and have fully fitted kitchens, free WiFi, large TV's with Freeview, DVD players and are provided with towels and bed linen.

We are happy to take our guests for a tour of the farm to see the animals (cows, pigs, laying hens) and collect the eggs. Our farm is a Permaculture Land Centre and practices holistic sustainable agriculture, no chemicals, no sprays, just animals in a natural environment moving daily to fresh pasture for happy health livestock.

This spacious traditional Kentish cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large lounge, dining room, kitchen and conservatory. All very tastefully decorated in country cottage style it provides generous and comfortable accommodation for your stay.

The kitchen and en-suite bathroom have all recently been refitted to a high standard, the kitchen is well stocked with utensils and equipment that includes cooker, 4 ring hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and freezer.

Two of the three bedrooms can be arranged as doubles or twins and a high chair and cot are available if needed.

The large conservatory enjoys fantastic views across the private garden and out in to open fields and woodland, the wild birds are encouraged to the feeder in the apple tree and our chickens pay regular visits to say hello.

The garden is secure on all sides and provides a BBQ, patio table and chairs for up to 8 people. Through the gate you access the natural swimming lake.

Our Shepherds hut provides the ultimate glamping experience, hand made in the UK by master craftsmen, finished in oak, Rose hut is beautifully designed to provide you with a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The hut enjoys a premium position with its outside deck looking out across the lake and farm to woodland beyond.

You have your own private garden with BBQ and outside dining.

Inside Rose has a double bed that converts in the day to a dining area for 4. The bunk bed (for children)also folds away to provide further seating. The kitchen has a butler sink, oak tops, a double gas hob, fridge and microwave.

Your private shower room is 20 paces away and provides a heated shower room with toilet and sink plus extra storage.

The hut has stunning views in all directions and you can snuggle up besides the log burner or relax in the hot tub.

Located in the heart of the Kent countryside Oak cottage provides a beautiful and relaxing environment. It's open plan living room with quaint exposed brick and beams has a southerly aspect and looks out over the beautiful formal gardens at Landews. Where better to enjoy a Pimms and Lemonade or soak up the sun!

Upstairs two well appointed bedrooms both have exposed oak beams and stunning views. In the main bedroom the floor to ceiling panoramic window provides stunning views across open countryside and the swimming lake as far as the Swale. The second bedroom is accessed from the main bedroom, it also have feature exposed beams, fabulous views and it can be arranged as a twin or double room.

Downstairs the open plan living comprises:- the lounge, with two comfortable sofas and solid wood floor, opening in to the feature gally dining area and the functional modern kitchen.

To the west of the cottage you have stable type door giving access to a patio with beautiful scented Wisteria above (seasonal), on which to watch the sun go down. On the patio is a charcoal BBQ.

Challock can be reached by car from the M2(Jun 6) or M20(Jun 9). Take the A251 to Challock, at the roundabout (HalwayHouse Pub and Crossroads Motors) take the exit to Charing and Maidstone. As you reach the Green turn right in to Green Lane, drive 0.4 mile and turn right at the sign for Landews Meadow. At the gates press the call button. If using Google Maps search Landews Meadow Cottages.
