Situated 11 miles from the Cathedral city of Lincoln with medieval castle, our lodge is set in peaceful countryside, surrounded by panoramic views. A perfect base for family gatherings.
Our luxury lodge is situated at our working farm near Faldingworth, approximately 20 minutes from Lincoln and 10 minutes from the Lincolnshire Showground, popular for hosting multiple fairs and events throughout the year. Our solid log house enjoys high vaulted ceilings and pine interior, within spacious accommodation sleeping up to 8 people, with 3 double bedrooms and 1 twin. There is a large bathroom with roll top bath, shower and handbasin, plus an additional shower room and separate W.C room. Wi-fi is also included in the lodge. Outside it boasts a generous sized garden and ample parking for up to 3 cars. A large decking area with outdoor seating and BBQ provides an ideal area for alfresco dining throughout the summer months. There is a hot tub with a covered wooden gazebo to accommodate up to 6 people, perfect for enjoying the lovely surroundings. Our lodge is ideally located for many major attractions within the county, including Rand Farm Park, Helmswell Antique Centre, Doddington Hall, Woodside Wildlife Park, Burton Waters, and Whisby Nature Park, all within approximately 25 minutes’ drive. Nearby Lincoln offers multiple museums, restaurants and theatres, as well as the charm of the cobbled streets and boutiques of the Bailgate. The Brayford Waterfront provides a lovely waterside setting for cafes and restaurants, within walking distance of Lincoln’s High Street and shopping centre. During December, visit the spectacular Lincoln Christmas market within the cultural quarter of the city, for a truly festive experience, set around the medieval square and within the grounds of the Norman castle.
Additional Directions Information
We are at Alde Felde Farm, approximately half way between the villages of Faldingworth and Spridlington on Spridlington Road. There is a farm sign at the drive end.
