We are a traditional farm located in a particularly beautiful part of the Peak District National Park. Ideal for walking and peaceful relaxation and yet within 30 mins drive to Alton Towers.

Hot Tub is available for the exclusive use in each of the cottages.
Our Grade II listed Hay Barn has been converted into two high quality self catering cottages, retaining its original charm and character, sleeping up to 12 comfortably.
It comprises two cottages each sleeping  up to six people all with excellent facilities.
There are plenty of things to do with at least 6 public houses within one hours walking, also the Manifold, Tissington, High Peak and Monsal cycling trails are close by.
We are central to the historic market towns of Ashbourne, Bakewell, Buxton and Leek. All are within 10 miles distance and each hold numerous festivals throughout the year.

Included within your cottage:-

  • Joint entrance lobby/boots off for hanging drying coats and boots.
  • A welcome hamper pack including tea, coffee, milk and locally sourced produce.
  • Separate fridge and freezer, single oven with grill, induction hob, microwave with steaming function, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery.
  • Kitchen table and chairs for six, (highchair is available and should be requested prior to arrival) three double sofas with foot stool, wall mounted LED flat screen Samsung HD Freeview TV, DVD/Blu ray video player, HDMI connecting cable, nest of three tables, coffee table and light.
  • All bed linen, mattress protectors, pillows, duvets, bath towels, hand towels and kitchen towels. (Waterproof mattress protectors are available and should be requested prior to arrival)
  • Beds, bedside tables, hairdryer, lamps, wardrobes (limited hanging space in the downstairs double bedroom) chest of drawers and mirrors in all bed rooms. (Cots are available and should be requested prior to arrival)
  • Washing and cleaning products that are environmentally sensitive. (We are connected to a separate sewage treatment plant which is sensitive to excessive amounts of detergents, bleaches, disinfectants etc.)
  • Underfloor heating throughout the ground and first floors.
  • Hot Tub at the rear for exclusive use.
  • Outside furniture to the front and rear areas.
  • Separate laundry facilities including washing machine, tumble dryer

White Park cottage is a three bedroomed cottage sleeping a maximum of six, all with king size beds, with the possibility of converting one of the first floor bedrooms into twin single beds.

It has the benefit that one of the bedrooms is on the ground floor for the less abled to access, with its own large wet room and entrance.

The ground floor has a spacious open plan kitchen, dining and living area, ideal for families and groups to share their holiday experience. There is also a separate first floor bathroom with a bath/shower.

A 6 seater Spa Hot Tub is available for Exclusive use by White Park Cottage

Our postcode DE6 2AJ will bring you directly to the Farm House from where you can collect the keys to your cottage and we will show you round.

Take the A515 to Buxton for approx 7 miles

Just after the Newhaven garage on the right take the left turn to Hartington

Travel through Hartington to Hulme End on entering the village take a left turn at the Manifold Inn over the bridge onto the Alstonefield road.

After approx. 200 meters take the right turn sign posted Butterton and Ecton

After approx. 1 mile take the left turn sign posted Back of Ecton No Through Road 

Keep going for approx. 2 miles all uphill, at a fork in the road take the sharp right turn uphill and then you will come directly to the Farm.
