Our lovely 5-star barn conversion is set alongside the fields, slightly separate from our other cottages on the farm. Sleeping 4, and with its own private hot tub and enclosed garden, the Hayloft is ideal for holidaying with pets and small children. It is spread across two floors, with unique undercroft feature (the Den) that's really popular with the 'smaller guests'. The large open plan living and dining area is a bright and airy space, where original features mix with modern furnishings to ensure a focus on comfort.

Outside, enjoy the privacy and seclusion of the private garden to take in the lovely views of the Suffolk countryside, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the starry Suffolk nights. The Hayloft offers beautiful views across the fields from the garden bench as the sun comes up, or simply lounge in the hot tub on the terrace and make use of the BBQ to dine outside. The space is secured with fencing and gates so is ideal for small children and/or pets.

Inside, the light and airy ground floor is open plan with two sets of french doors opening out onto the garden - perfect for eating inside or out. The kitchen and dining space is fully equipped, and the lounge area has plenty of comfy seating, with a wood burner for cosy evenings, as well as large screen TV, DVD player and a Pure radio Bluetooth speaker unit.

There is a downstairs cloakroom with WC and basin next to the staircase leading upstairs, and the undercroft (the Den) is great for 'smaller' guests, including 2 futon chair beds and a giant beanbag for 'camping' in :-)

The small staircase leads up to the landing and two comfortable bedrooms - a spacious master room with kingsize bed, and a twin room with full-length (6'3") built-in single beds. Between them is a modern bathroom with bath and shower over, WC and basin. The beamed ceilings are high and well-lit, with opening Velux windows making the rooms bright and airy.

This is our premium cottage, ideal for families or groups of four.

Additional Directions Information

Follow the A12 - northwards past Yoxford, or southwards past Blythburgh, and turn off onto the A144 to Halesworth. Drive through Bramfield and onwards up the hill towards Halesworth. When you get to the T-junction in Halesworth, turn left. Once you have left the town, follow the road for around half a mile to a sharp 90 degree lefthand bend. At this bend is a narrow lane straight ahead and signposted to Cookley. Turn into that lane and follow it over the rise where you'll see the farm and its pink farmhouse straight ahead in the distance. Keep following the road down the hill and round the sharp 'S' bend, and then in around 100 metres you'll see our entrance and signs to the holiday cottages on your right. You've made it !
