Enjoy a holiday on our horse and dog friendly working farm on the Deben Estuary, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and part of East Anglia's Heritage Coast. You can book into Stable Cottage and book your horse into our stables or grazing. Or alternatively why not have side saddle lessons on our schoolmaster? Stable Cottage is ideal for a couple or family of up to four but can sleep up to six, having two bedrooms with double beds and having a sofa bed downstairs. After a good day in the saddle you will be able to enjoy a nice hot bath followed by cosy evenings in by the woodburner, or you could go out to the excellent local pub or one of the many brilliant restaurants in nearby Woodbridge. This is also an ideal place to come for a retreat in the country, riding, walking and birdwatching by the river. As well as our interest in horses, we are very much a part of life on the river and you are very welcome to take a charter trip with us on one of our historic sailing boats. ? Stable Cottage is close to the historic town of Woodbridge and the site of the hugely significant Anglo Saxon burial ship at Sutton Hoo as well as being just a few miles south of the beautiful coastal town of Aldeburgh near the famous Snape Malting Concert Hall.

leaving woodbridge from the A12 take the A1152 acrooss the river Deben at the mini roundabout take the B1083 through the village of Sutton . as you approach Shottisham at the T junction turn right signposted Ramsholt then after half a mile right again signposted Ramsholt. after 3 90 degree bends and quarter of a mile there is a signpost to Ramsholt Church on the right take the road to the church . As you approach the church the road becomes a track continue forwards on this track and head down the hill with the river on your left , you will come into the farm yard past farm office on the left drive past the house then turn left and you will see the parking for stable cottage in front of you .
