Peaceful and cosy cottages, converted outbuildings on an historic estate.  Surrounded by beautiful private parkland with walks from the door step including The Plas Farm Trail.  Very convenient to local amenities and the wonderful attractions of South Wales including the Gower beaches and Brecon Beacons Mountains.  Free Wifi, dog friendly.  Green Business Of The Year.

Bryn Hir is a wonderful 19th century Georgian Coach House that consists of two neighbouring cottages interconnected to create one large four bedroomed property. It overlooks a courtyard and parkland to the front and the picturesque River Clydach to the rear. This cottage is ideal for groups or families and features a riverside hot tub, wood burning stove and four poster bed. There are farm walks from the doorstep and plenty to do in the surroundign area including Brecon Beacons National Park and the Gower Peninsula.  The name Bryn Hir means Long Mountain – a reference to the romantic sandstone ridge of Mynydd Marchywel that overlooks the Plas Cilybebyll Estate and provides excellent rambling opportunities for guests. Guests are free to explore the home farm via a signposted trail from the doorstep. The property is also very convenient for the city of Swansea.

Swansea valley Holiday Cottages are very easy to reach by road.

Leave the M4 motorway at Junction 45, taking the A4067 towards Pontardawe

Upon reaching Pontardawe take the A474 towards Neath

After about 1 mile, take the left turn-off signposted "Cilybebyll"

On reaching T-Junction go straight across into farm drive, through the white gateposts where you will see a sign marked Swansea Valley Holiday Cottages.

The M4 motorway runs between Swansea and London and makes the most dramatic entry into Wales. The Severn Bridge (remember the toll!) rises high over the mud flats, passing Chepstow, Newport and Cardiff en route to Swansea and the west. The M6, M5, M42 and M50 connect the South Wales area to North and South West England and the Midlands.
