Holiday Cottages in the heart of Lacock. Each cottage is ideally suited to a couple or a family with young children.

The Rectory Lacock is a Grade II listed Victorian building built in 1866. Sitting in 6 acres of private Wiltshire countryside, the Rectory is just a 2 minute leisurely walk from the heart of the medieval National Trust village of Lacock.

There are two holiday cottages in the grounds of the Rectory where our guests have the privacy of their own dedicated patio area and a separate private garden, exclusively available to our cottage guests. Each cottage has two bedrooms and all of the facilities that our guests would expect to find in good quality self-catering accommodation.

Converted from the original former stables both cottages have vaulted ceilings and modern interiors. Lenton Cottage is a little larger, and has a vaulted roof in the open plan lounge/kitchen with french doors overlooking the fields and stables. This cottage has one king bedroom and a second bedroom with a truckle bed (double with a single bunk above) and a bathroom with a rainshower, W/C and wash basin.

Wheeler Cottage has an open plan kitchen/living area, with a vaulted ceiling and overlooks the rectory gardens.  This cottage has a king bedroom and second bedroom with bunk beds for children. Both cottages are ideally suited for a couple or a family with young children or business person working in the area.  Although the cottages are separate there is an adjoining hallway so the cottages can be interlinked as one if required.

Each cottage is well equipped with a fully fitted kitchen including an electric cooker and hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge.  All linen and towels professionally laundered and are included.  The cottages have complimentary WiFi access as well as TV and DVD facilities.  An iron and ironing board are available. There is parking on site for one car per cottage. There is no parking available for a second car on site.  Please email me if you would like to bring your well behaved dog.

The beautiful village of Lacock is a firm favourite for film and TV producers due to its notably picturesque streets and historic cottages, all unspoilt by modern alterations.  The village has been used as a setting for Downton Abbey, Pride and Prejudice, Cranford and Harry Potter. Very recently, the village has been used for the filming the Downton Abbey movie released in Sep 19.

The cottages are also ideally suited to people visiting the local area including Bath, Stonehenge, Avebury and Longleat.

Minimum stay of 2 nights.
