2016 has been announced as the Year of the English Garden by VisitEngland, to celebrate the country’s fabulous gardens and to mark the 300th anniversary of Capability Brown.
In 2016 there will be many fantastic events to celebrate this monumental year, from the Snowdrop Walks in February to the RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park – the gardening event of the year in Cheshire – in July.
From stately homes and secret gardens, botanic blooms at Ness Botanic Gardens, the quintessentially English at Arley Hall & Gardens to exotic, oriental planting at Tatton Park, it's the ever-changing landscape of the region that continues to inspire and attract us - and the thousands of visitors that relax in, and enjoy, Cheshire's gardens every year. Cheshire’s gardens have something for everyone.
