Bideford Westward Ho! Beach

Ilfracombe Tunnels Beaches

Shopping

Barnstaple has a Go Shopmobility which is a service for anyone with mobility problems that would need help in going around the shops in Barnstaple with manual and powered wheelchairs and a wide range of electric scooters in the centre

If you are going away and do not want to being the wheelchair or scooter then Shopmobility is the way to go if it is a day or a week they can help.

Atlantic Village shopping outlet Bideford

They can provide manual wheel chairs if needed. This is all on the flat with seats in different places for you to take a rest

Garden centres

We have a great array of garden centres with cafes and teas shops in most of them these are on the flat and have wheelchairs for use. Eggesford Garden centre, St Johns Garden centre and Wyevale Ashford Garden centre, Merry Harriers Garden Centre Nr Bideford, Bow Garden centre in Crediton does not have a wheelchair but the café and surrounding are great.

Gardens in North Devon

RHS Gardens Rosemoor also have powered ones different sizes that you can hirer
Clovelly Court Gardens are suitable for wheelchairs
Castle Hill Gardens have paths you walk round but in places a bit hilly
Docton Mill Gardens have a flat section but also a very hilly section.
Hartland Abbey just around the house is accessible
Marwood Hill Gardens can be difficult to get round
