Enjoy a warm welcome to this fascinating timber-framed, historic, listed building in a quiet, attractive countryside location near Ashbourne, Derbyshire.

Mercaston Hall farmhouse bed and breakfast is situated in the rural hamlet of Mercaston, halfway between Derby and Ashbourne.  We are an ideal base for visits and walks in the Peak District, many tourist attractions and stately homes. We are just one mile from Kedleston Hall (NT) and close to Carsington Water. Well placed for the towns and cities of the Midlands.

All of our rooms are en suite and offer traditional charm with modern facilities. We offer a wide menu and can cater for all tastes and dietery requirements, serving home produced as well as local foods. Wifi is available.

The Old Milking Parlour provides an attractive beamed function/party room. We also have flat area as well as hard standing which can accommodate a marquee.

We are a small, sixty acre, mainly sheep farm but also have pigs, hens and ducks as well as a large variety of wild birds and animals and well stocked carp ponds.

          1.  From Ashbourne A52 road. In Brailsford village take Luke Lane (signposted                    Mercaston). After 1 mile at 1st crossroads, turn right (signposted Mugginton).                  In  1mile after Mugginton turn on left, (sp Kedleston)  house is 300 metres on right.

          2.  From Derby A52. In Kirkland Langley, at crossroads turn right down Flagshaw                Lane 1.4mi and continue onto Slade Lane 0.7mi.  At T junction turn left and we                are 300 metres on your left.
