Award winning self catering holidays, more than just a cottage. Frequently featured in the national press (Telegraph, Mail, Sunday Times and even the NY Times), offering hands on farm activities for children and adults or just a quiet lazy break. Your choice! Escape the city and enjoy the away from it all atmosphere of Cwmcrwth Farm nestled in beautiful countryside. Easily accessible to the A40 (1.5miles) and the main towns and coast of West Wales you'll never be stumped for things to do during your stay. That is if you want to leave the farm at all!

Our traditional stone self catering holiday cottages have been lovingly converted from old farm buildings and decorated in a contemporary style. Large floor to ceiling windows in the Hayloft and Coach House ensures the sun floods into the cottages from the picturesque courtyard. The single storey Milking Parlour with underfloor heating makes it ideal for older and younger visitors.

All cottages are fully equipped for self catering and additional baby and toddler equipment can be supplied.

Outside our wooden play castle and climbing frame keeps the kids entertained while the little ones have ride on tractors and a huge sand pit. Pond dipping and stream splashing and bug hunts.

West Wales offers unrivalled walking, castles galore, NT properties, showcaves and dinosaur, goldmines, steam railways and long sandy beaches with Dolphins and Puffins to spot. Our small working farm is ideal for those who want to get hands on with the animals.

Daily feeding rounds with Farmer Rob are a highlight of any stay. As well as traditional family farm holidays with Easter lambing and bottle feeding, we offer special Toddler and Pre-School breaks in term time, Junior Farmer Weekands and Adults Farming Experience Breaks in Spring through to Autumn. Groups, bespoke holidays, significant birthdays and reunions are all welcome.

Spiral staircase to 2 double rooms en-suite one with shower cubicle and one with a shower over the bath. Garden area to rear with BBQs and seating.

Converted from the original hayloft and barn this cosy cottage is an ideal retreat. Large windows in place of the original barn doors provides plenty of natural light while voiles on the windows ensure privacy. The frontdoor opens into a lounge/diner with a table and seating for 4 facing towards the courtyard and a sofa and armchair towards the back of the cottage. A flatscreen freeview television with integral dvd player, a selection of dvds and board games are also provided. The floors downstairs are tiled. The newly fitted kitchen is well equipped for self catering with an electric hob and oven, dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge freezer and microwave oven. The kitchen looks out over the gardens where a large patio and lawn area provides plenty of space to sit and enjoy a BBQ in the warm weather. The bedrooms upstairs are reached via a metal spiral staircase.

The cottage has a twin room with an en-suite bathroom comprising a toilet, sink and shower over the bath. High ceilings and exposed beams in the bedroom show its original character. The twin room still retains the original window shutters while supplementing the light with a velux window in the roof. The double room has a large window where the original hatch to the hayloft was, which now provides a fine view over the stableyard to the landscape beyond. The en-suite has a shower cubicle, sink and toilet. Quality bedlinen and fluffy white towels are provided. Upstairs there are laminate floors throughout. Continuous hot water and heating via an external oil fired combi boiler controlled from within the cottage.

The lounge area with 2 large sofas (one a sofabed) and armchair provide plenty of room to relax. A freeview television, video and dvd player together with a gamecube console, a selection of dvds, videos and board games are also provided. The floors downstairs are tiled and laminate flooring. The dining area has a large table and chairs for 6. The fitted kitchen is well equipped for self catering with an electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer and microwave oven. The kitchen looks out over the gardens where a large patio and lawn area provides plenty of space to sit and enjoy a BBQ in the warm weather.

There is a downstairs bathroom with toilet, sink and shower over a bath and a separate cupboard housing the washing machine. The bedrooms upstairs are reached via a wooden staircase. The cottage has a twin room and bunk room with high ceilings and exposed beams showing its original character. They have velux windows in the roof with blinds. The double room has exposed beams and a large window partially looking over the garden and fields.The en-suite has a shower cubicle, sink and toilet. Quality bedlinen and fluffy white towels are provided. Upstairs there are laminate floors throughout. Hot water and heating is available from a gas fired boiler controlled from within the cottage.

Situated in the courtyard the entrance to The Milking Parlour is via a stable door into a porch housing the underfloor heating boiler which provides an ideal place for walkers to dry wet outer clothing and boots. Leading through to a large Kitchen/Diner with open ceilings and exposed beams. A well equipped and fully fitted kitchen ideal for self catering including dishwasher, touch sensitive electric hob, microwave, fan oven, washing machine and large fridge/freezer and a table and chairs for 6 people. The lounge area has a large picture window with views over the fields and pond. Two 3 seater sofas provide an area to relax with a flatscreen freeview television with integral DVD and IPOD dock and a small selection of dvds, board games and books.

The 2 twin rooms have a wardrobe, bedside cabinets and metal bedsteads and enjoy views over the courtyard. Contemporary quality bedlinen and fluffy white towels are provided. These rooms share a spacious family bathroom with sink, toilet and a modern bar mixer shower over the bath. The double room looks out over the pond and trees. It has a double bed, wardrobe and bedside cabinets and an en-suite bathroom with toilet, sink and shower cubicle containing a modern bar mixer shower. The property has tiled floors throughout with underfloor heating and rugs for comfort underfoot. Outside the cottage has a decking area with seating looking out over the pond and fields.

Additional Directions Information

From the M4 or from A40 follow the road signs to Llandeilo. From Llandeilo follow the A40 towards Carmarthen. On reaching Broad Oak at the crossroads signposted Aberglasney Gardens and Capel Isaac, turn right towards Capel Isaac. Follow this road for 1.5 miles, at the T junction turn left and immediately right into the entrance of the farm.
