Carr Edge is a working Beef & Sheep farm nestling in 700 acres of pastures and woodlands in Hexham, Northumberland. Situated in the historic area of the Hadrian s Wall corridor and 5 minutes out of the village of Newbrough Carr Edge is set in an idyllic location. This traditional farmhouse is overlooking the South Tyne Valley, commanding spectacular views of the North Pennines and surrounding National Park areas. The Farm House is situated on a public footpath which leads to Hadrian s Wall and the Baden Powell Scout Cairn. It provides an ideal base for walkers and cyclists and we offer a pick up and drop off service. 'Walking and Cyclist Welcome Award' Guest Lounge & Breakfast Room. We offer a choice of an Aga cooked traditional Farmhouse breakfast or a continental option or vegetarian meal. All served in the ground floor stone flagged breakfast room.The upstairs Lounge has retained many of the original beams and features and can be accessed by the outside stone stairs. Ideal for relaxing in with its colour TV, books. and board games. All 3 guest bedrooms are en-suite and centrally heated, boasting south facing breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and the garden area.
