Holme Wold Farm Cottage

Holme Wold Cottage overlooks pasture to the front and woodland to the rear that offers a home to a variety of wildlife including owls, pheasants, partridge and the occasional deer.  In addition hens roam the farmyard and you are bound to meet our friendly dog Oscar.  We grow a variety of crops from barley to Birds Eye peas. 

The cottage can comfortably sleep 6 people in 3 bedrooms with a double sofa bed in the dining room.  If your party is smaller we are able offer the option of booking only 2 of our 3 bedrooms at discounted rates.  Please contact Anne for prices and availability.

We offer a fully equiped kitchen with modern appliances. In the dining room there is an extendable table to allow your whole party to eat together as well as a comfortable leather sofa that converts to a double bed.  The cozy sitting room offers a real fire, freeview TV and DVD player.  Finally on the ground floor is a shower room with large shower.

Upstairs there are two king sized bedrooms equipped with good quality free standing furniture. A zip and link bed in one of these rooms allow for two 2ft 6in single beds if requested.  The twin bedroom with full sized beds and fully equipped family bathroom are under the eaves at the back of the cottage.

For younger children we have a travel cot, highchair, stairgates and a large fireguard available on request.

The village of Holme on the Wolds is close to the historic market towns of Beverley and Driffield. Within easy reach of the beautiful East Yorkshire Coast including the towns of Bridlington and Scarborough, the historic City of York as well as the county’s hidden gem the port city of Hull. The area offers many opportunities for cycling and walking holidays being close to the famous Wolds Way and many other quiet roads and pathways.
