Upper Kingston Farm Cottages

Set on the edge of the idyllic New Forest and just two miles from the historic market town of Ringwood, Upper Kingston Farm Cottages provide quality self-catering accommodation set on a rural working farm.

The characteristic Victorian farm buildings have been carefully restored and converted into five cottages varying in occupancy capacity from 1 to 4 people.

Newly opened in August 2010 using the latest green technology for heating, our aim is to allow guests to enjoy a wonderful holiday with the least damage to the environment.

On arrival at the cottages our guests recieve a welcome pack consisting of tea, milk and a home-made cake and all the ingredients for their first New Forest breakfast using mainly local produce carring the 'Forest Marque'.

All hot water and heating is supplied from Air Source Heat Pumps, backed up by wood burning stoves. We also have our own sewage system, where the clean water is discharged onto the fields therefore supplying grass for our cattle and sheep.

Being on the edge of the New Forest National Park and less than 8 miles from the coast, there are plenty of sports and activities available to keep all age groups happy.

Cycle hire can be arranged locally. Within a short distance of the farm there is fishing on the River Avon and Sea Fishing can be arranged at Mudeford. Horse riding can be arranged locally, or if you want to bring your own horses, grazing is available on the farm and stabling can be arranged locally.

If you wish to travel by train, coach or air, we can pick you up from the local station - Brockenhurst or Hinton Admiral - the bus station in Ringwood or Bournemouth International Airport.
