14th May Wales Celebrates International Dylan Thomas Day

On 14th May Wales celebrates International Dylan Thomas Day.

Welcome to Dylan Day, an international day to celebrate the life and work of Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, which will be held each year on 14 May, the date Under Milk Wood was first read on stage at 92Y The Poetry Center, New York in 1953.

The first Dylan Day took place on Thursday 14 May 2015 where everyone was invited to join in and have fun with the magic of Dylan’s words through creative writing workshops, literary tours, educational resources and readings in unusual places.
