Sandbeds has recently been refurbished in a contemporary style yet retaining many of the 18th Century features to create a 2 stunning holiday homes which are set in a rural location on our 100 acre farm, guests can rent both units and sleep up to 14 plus infants. Our holiday homes offers peace and tranquility which is perfect for a relaxing break after a busy day of sightseeing and activities that both the Lake District and Yorkshire National Parks has to offer, walk the farm or sit out in the large gardens and marvel the quiet dark night skys without light polution or the urban orange glow.

Guests have easy access to the Lakes and Mountains, Market Towns of Kendal and Sedbergh both provide numerous amenities. With only 4 miles to the nearest junction of the M6 transport links for our guests living in the Northern Towns and Cities are very accessible. Manchester and Liverpool being 1 hour 15 mins drive away a 50 minute drive away from Scotch Corner on the A1 for the North East & 45 mins from Gretna Green on the Scottish Border.

Coomb View offers contemporary open plan living including a Fully Fitted Black High Gloss Kitchen complete with Island, Dining and Living area for four guests on the first floor to take advantage of the stunning rural views. The Living Area is furnished with leather sofas, coffee table and a 50" TV, DVD and CD Player for the home entertainment of our Guests. On the Ground Floor are Two bedrooms and a Family Bathroom. Each Bedroom has access to a outdoor patio area which enjoys morning sunlight. Bedroom One is a Double and Bedroom Two can be arranged as one Kingsize or a Twin Room depending on your individual requirements. An additional sleeping position is available if required on a sofabed in the upstairs Living Area.

Coomb View has access to private patio area with table and chairs to enjoy outdoor living and enjoy the dark night skies without urban orange glow. To the side of our barn conversion is a large lawned area and country garden.

Sandbeds is 6 miles north of Kendal on the A685 after leaving Grayrigg village travel 1.1miles and turn right at the crossroads down a tarmac lane marked with a footpath sign. From the M6 junction 38 take 3rd exit on the roundabout sign posted Kendal A685 travel 4 miles look out for sharp left hand bend with large chevron warning sign travel 300 yards and turn left at the crossroads down a tarmac lane signposted by a footpath sign.
