There are just 6 lodges at The Chilterns View.They are all south facing and very private.
Our Safari Lodge is dog friendly with an en-suite bathroom.
Our 5 other lodges have en-suite shower rooms.
We provide all your firewood for the log burners and charcoal for your BBQ.
We offer a minimum of a 3-night stay on weekends £620-£720 or a 2-night stay mid-week is £445-£575 if you are booking through our website, it does cost more using other channels.
Our lodges are situated in a Copse overlooking fields and hills, it is a 30 minute walk to The Shepherds Hut which is a lively local pub with great food.

My guests that come and stay at The Chilterns View love the fact it is so romantic and enjoy the ouside space to have their own BBQ"S and Hot tub experience overlooking the gorgeous countryside.

Wifi is not that great but some lodges seem to get it better than other lodges, don't be put off by wintery weather !! it makes the lodge extra special when sitting next to the fire and it's awsome being hot in your tub on cooler days! In the summer it's very easy to find sunny spots in the field in front of your lodge and sit outside on your veranda in the evening with a glass of fizz is magical!!

I like having barbacued sausages for breafast watching the pheasants pass by, and listening to the red kites whistle as they circle overhead.

Our Local The Shepherds Hut does an amazing Sunday roast but just a great place to have a few drinks in a friendly enviroment.

There some amazing walks here and cycling is great as we have tame hills! I reccomend The Greyhound which is Antony Worrall Thompson's Pub/restaurant, it does the best steaks ever!! please give this a try, Wednesday evenings are the music nights so please visit their website to check what's going on! in Gallowstree Common near Henley greyhound@awtrestaurants.com 0118 9722227 or The Crooked Billet in Stoke Row near Henley 01491 681048 This is a very quirky place with great food and specialises in fish they have music nights often on Mondays and Tuesdays!! great to eat and listen to old folk or Jazz music some ex-famous band member play here!!

We are located between Oxford and Henley and Heathrow is only a 45 minutes drive to the lodges. Cholsey Station is our closest 15 minute drive or Didcot Parkway 30 minutes drive but does have faster trains stopping there. I would pre-order a taxi to take you from any station to the lodges. Down Farm House, Ewelme Down Farm, Wallingford, Oxon, OX10 6PQ.
