Thoughtfully designed accommodation across two cottages, specifically aimed at multi generational large family groups with a spacious and comfortable atmosphere throughout. Both cottages are very well-appointed and are thoughtfully designed with everything your guests might need during their stay.
To keep all of your guests, of all ages entertained, we have excellent onsite facilities including exclusive shared use of the Indoor Heated Swimming Pool, Multi Sports Court and Under 5's Area, along with access to the seasonal Football Field, Picnic Area, BBQ's, Bird Watching and Star Gazing Areas, Oak Acre Avenue, On site Parking, EV Charging Points, Drying Room & Free WiFi.
For the walkers in the group, we have some superb country walks, with the Shropshire Way running through the farm, along with the Shropshire Union Canal close by that offer picturesque landscapes to take in. There is excellent cycling too right outisde the farm.
Buttercups sleeps 10 guests and 2 cots across 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and Hayloft sleep 6 guests and 2 cots across 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Both cottages are also Pet Friendly.
Dining for your 16 guests is located in Buttercups, which has picturesque views over the Shropshire landscape through our floor to ceiling windows. Enjoy lingering over long dinners or celebration lunches where conversations flow as easily as the wine!
Both kitchens are exceptionally well equipped and has everything you will need to cater for a large group of all ages. There is also access to outside Chefs that can bring anything from a 3-course meal to a wonderful Afternoon Tea to your door!!
These Georgian Barns have been lovingly converted, keeping many original features of open beams and brick trusses, but have a modern feel through their fixtures and fittings.
Having two cottages is ideal, as if Buttercups becomes a little hectic for some, then guests can relocate to Hayloft for some quiet time in front of the woodburning stove, or read quietly in the spacious garden patio area.
Locally we have some great group Attractions & Activities, including, Alderford Lake Aqua Park, Doodle Alley Pottery Painting, Rednall Go Karts, Hawkstone Follies walking trails or the thrills and spills of Bewilderwood or the The Crocky Trail!! There are plenty of walks and cycle rides right on your doorstep; Along with many Castles, Historic Houses and places of interest to visit as well!
Our charming local market town of Whitchurch is just 2 miles away, boasting delightful artisan shops & boutiques, the fantastic Antiques Emporium, a wide variety of cafe's, wine bars, restaurants and traditional Pubs. It has a Farmer's market on the first Saturday of every month.
Buttercups & Hayloft are the perfect cottage combination for that large group get away or celebration, filling the needs of all ages.
