Unique converted stable accommodation on our working farm in Avebury — a beautiful and sacred landscape in the heart of Wiltshire, just 2 hours from London.

We have converted our farm stables into six luxury, self-catering hideaways. Together, the stables and courtyard create a perfect setting for weekends away, family holidays and group events.

Our location is perfect for those looking to explore the World Heritage Site of Avebury which boasts stunning scenery and an ancient stone circle. Marlborough is also close by and there are plenty of walking trails to suit all abilities on our doorstep as well as a selection fantastic local pubs for refuelling afterwards.

We offer self-catering with a twist: we can provide produce from our farm direct to your stable, including bacon, sausages and succulent steak from our herd of grass-fed, Wiltshire cows. Build the perfect local breakfast or make use of our Weber BBQs.

Our stables can be found clustered around a landscaped courtyard — with plenty of seating and dining spaces in amongst the planting. In fair weather, larger parties can come together under a softly lit pergola and in cooler months our fire pits keep the garden perfectly cosy. No two stables are the same, but all are an elevated home away from home suitable for families, couples and friends alike, with their own cooking and dining facilities.

When booking the whole space, you also have the option to host intimate group gatherings and parties in The Barn and The Granary, our unique event spaces.

Silbury Hill is the largest of all our stables and can be linked with Long Barrow through a shared boot room, to create the perfect combined space for family and friends to stay together.

There are three bedrooms. The king size room on the open mezzanine floor above (accessed via a built-in wooden ladder) and has its own ensuite bathroom and views of neolithic Silbury Hill. The rich green colour palette echoes the lush, surrounding landscape. This bedroom also has space for a travel cot, which we can provide upon request.

On the ground floor, a second king size room and a twin room share a family bathroom. 

The living areas are generously proportioned thanks, in part, to the vast, vaulted ceiling.

It’s cleverly designed L-shape kitchen has all that you need to prepare supper with, before taking a well deserved seat on the sumptuous Sofa.com sofa. 

Long Barrow has two bedrooms: a king size room with ensuite on the open mezzanine floor above (accessed via a built-in wooden ladder) and a cosy twin bedroom with ensuite shower room on the ground floor. Look out for the flourishes of pink (which we love!) and dramatic Artisans of Devizes tiles. 

This stable can be linked with Silbury Hill through a shared boot room. Somewhere to leave muddy boots and coats, with a washing machine for guest’s use.
