Stunning modern barn conversions set in the heart of a private 15 acre Cotswold Estate, sleeping from 6 - 30 guests. Wonderful walks from your doorstep, dogs very welcome.

Our 3 and 4 bed modern barn conversions are situated in a courtyard with stunning contemporary open plan layouts. The modern barns are beautifully furnished and the open plan feel make them ideal for families or larger groups. All have a bathroom for each bedroom, and a downstairs bedroom and wash room for disabled access. On site games room to keep you occupied, pet farm animals (goats, donkey and alpaca) for you to meet, village cafe/bar and plenty of outdoor space we are perfect for a countryside get away. Wonderful walks, dogs and children very welcome!

Our barns can be booked indivisually or for groups rangeing from 6 - 30 guests. We have three forur bed barns and one three bedroom barn and all have an open plan kitchen/dining/sitting area. Each barn has a downstairs bedroom with wheel in wash room accesible for wheel chair users.  

Kitchen – electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, large dining table for 6/8/14/22.
Sitting area – seating for 6/8, 42″ television with freeview and DVD player, wood burner, stereo system and I-pod dock.
Utility Area – washing machine and work surface – space for dog bed.
Bedroom 1 – King size or twin bed with en-suite shower room (suitable for disabled access).
Under floor heating throughout.

Walnut Barn is four bedroom and is all on ground level, the other barns have stairs. 

Further bedrooms are en-suite and can be king or twin to suit your needs, and each barn has a Wood burner and wi-fi.

The onsite games room provides, table tennis, table football and we also have a mini football area outside, a clamber stack and various play items. 

We can offer bike hire, tennis court hire, in barn dinner parties with a private chef or meals left ready for your arrival. Electric quad bike tours of the estate, beauty and pamper treatments in your cottage. The wonderful Nuttery Cafe and bar is located in the village and is open for breakfast and lunches during the week, at weekends it opens in the evening for drinks and suppers. 

The Notgrove Estate is a 1500 acre family farm high up on the Cotswold Hills.  Like many others it has diversified and welcomes guests to its selection of accommodation on the farm. Feel free to walk around our marked footpaths and appreciate our beautiful scenery that changes with each season and the pattern of farming. The farm has wonderful wildlife, and Notgrove Village with just 32 cottages is the same size now as it was in the Doomsday Book of 1086. Do also drop in and visit our own licensed Cafe and Bar – The Nuttery, in the heart of the Village.

The Village is only 3 miles from Bourton on the Water, and within reach of many well known Cotswold villages and towns, from Upper and Lower Slaugher and the Swells, to Bibury and Cheltenham. We also have many local attractions a short drive away including Adam’s Farm Park and the Cotswold Wildlife Park at Burford.

For those who like a walk to the pub, our neighbouring villages of Cold Aston and Naunton both have thriving local pubs selling local beer.

Chestnut Barn is a luxurious three bedroom barn situated deep in the private 1500 acre Notgrove Estate. Surrounded by stunning Cotswold countryside and with excellent facilities nearby, we offer high quality self catering accommodation. Downstairs is a spacious open plan living area with large, contemporary windows, modern kitchen (plus easy access bedroom), while upstairs are two more large bedrooms. The barn, which is part of a large barn renovation, has been built by local tradesmen using local materials together creating a large, cool building which is perfect for self catering. Internally the property is presented with a creative decor and charming textiles, with the large bathrooms especially attractive. With access to a games room and some cracking walks, (foodie pub across the field) you can do as little or as much as you like. Perfect!

Chestnut Barn Accommodation

Entrance through to hallway with ample space for coats, wellies, etc. Washing machine (please note that there is a ‘communal’ tumble dryer).

Living Area – large sofa plus additional seating, huge flatscreen TV plus DVD player, and wood burner
Kitchen – fully equipped with electric hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. Dining table for 6 people.
Bedroom 1 – King size or twin bed, hooks for hanging and chest of drawers. En-suite Shower Room with shower, WC and washbasin.

Upstairs
Bedroom 2 – King size or twin bed. En-suite Shower Room with shower, WC and washbasin.
Bedroom 3 – King size bed, chest of drawers and hooks for hanging.
Family Bathroom – bath with shower over, WC and washbasin.

The esate offers stunning walks right from your barn, dogs are very welcome and extras are offered such as a chef, beauty treatments, grocery delivery, bike hire, tennis court hire and many more.

The Nuttery Cafe is a 2 minute walk in the center of the village and offers breakfast, lunch and eveing meals. 

Can be booked as a combination sleeping 6, 14, 22 or 30 guests.

The esate offers stunning walks right from your barn, dogs are very welcome and extras are offered such as a chef, beauty treatments, grocery delivery, bike hire, tennis court hire and many more.
