Escape to Springfield Farm Holiday Pods, set on our working family farm near Penicuik, with beautiful views towards the Pentland Hills. Our spacious, modern pods sleep up to six guests and each has its own private hot tub, outdoor seating and everything you need for a relaxing countryside break. Guests can enjoy the peace of the farm, see cattle, sheep and Highland cows in the surrounding fields, and order our own farm-reared meat for the BBQ. We’re also ideally placed for exploring Edinburgh, the Scottish Borders, Rosslyn Chapel and the Pentland Hills.

.Springfield Farm Holiday Pods are set on our family-run working farm near Penicuik, surrounded by open countryside and beautiful views towards the Pentland Hills. It is a peaceful rural setting, yet within easy reach of Edinburgh and the Scottish Borders, making it a great base for both relaxing and exploring.

Our modern, comfortable pods sleep up to six guests and are designed to give you your own private space on the farm. Each pod has an open-plan living and kitchen area, a king-size bed, bathroom facilities, outdoor seating and a private hot tub where you can unwind and enjoy the countryside around you.

As a working farm, there is always something to see. Cattle, sheep and our Highland cows can often be spotted in the surrounding fields, and guests may also see local wildlife, including deer, particularly in the evenings. We produce our own beef, pork and lamb on the farm, and guests can pre-order a selection of our farm-reared meats, including BBQ and breakfast packs, to enjoy during their stay.

Springfield Farm is well placed for days out, with Rosslyn Chapel, the Pentland Hills and the market town of Peebles all nearby. Edinburgh is around 30–40 minutes away, making it easy to combine a peaceful countryside break with sightseeing, shopping, events and attractions in the city.

Whether you are visiting as a couple, family or group of friends, Springfield Farm offers a relaxed farm stay with plenty of space, fresh air and a real taste of the Scottish countryside.

Springfield Farm is located near Penicuik in Midlothian, within easy reach of Edinburgh and the Scottish Borders. We recommend travelling by car, as the farm is in a rural location. The entrance is from the main road, followed by our farm track to the holiday pods. Full arrival directions and access information are sent to guests before their stay.
