Able to sleep four - ideally a two-plus-two, each lodge has two double/twin bedrooms, two shower/WC rooms (one en-suite in the smaller bedroom), fully-equipped kitchens with dishwasher, WiFi, large-screen TV and stunning glass doors providing you with ever-changing seasonal views to the South across the river Tees. And right outside, there's the riverside path for that first thing in the morning, or last thing at night, walk with the dog.
To the side of each lodge is a discreet hot tub, placed to keep you private from your neighbours, where you can lie back and stare at the stars in the dark rural skies, or watch the river glide by.
And behind each lodge there's parking for two cars, just a few metres walk from the decking.
Teesdale, the first of the dales north of the Yorkshire Dales, is one of the UK's best-kept secrets. Comprising wonderful walking territory, it's home to 'England's Last Wilderness' and houses castles, stunning villages and one of the most surprising and amazing museums in the Country.
