Enjoy uninterrupted views of rolling farmland and the untouched landscapes of the iconic "Garden of England." Explore the scenery by foot or bike on one of the many trails our tiny Isle of Harty offers. Our favourites include the Isle of Harty Trail, which takes you past the 11th-century church of St. Thomas the Apostle, wetland waters' edge, and the Swale Nature Reserve, home to abundant wildlife. The Harty route of the English Coastal Path also offers a lovely walk along the Swale estuary, allowing you to go as far as you like. If a beach holiday is more your style, Mocketts Farm is close to three Blue Flag beaches: Leysdown-on-Sea, Minster-on-Sea, and Shellness, perfect for a classic seaside break.

Mocketts Farm Cottages are an ideal base for exploring the heritage towns of Kent. Just across the water is Faversham, home to England's oldest brewery, Shepherd Neame. Leeds Castle, described as "the most beautiful castle in the world," is just a 35-minute drive away. Enjoy a stroll around the pristine grounds, or try Go Ape and Segway rides onsite.

Foodies can indulge in the farm-to-table experience at our 2AA Rosette country restaurant, The Ferry House, just five minutes down the road. It serves the best of Kent's culinary delights, with fresh, homegrown produce from our 1.5-acre kitchen garden, grass-grazed beef from our family farm, and game from our local estate. Open for breakfast, lunch, and a la carte dinner seven days a week, be sure to book your table in advance.

After a day of exploring the countryside, relax with massages and facials at The Ferry House, tailored to you by our expert therapists, using essential oil blends for a truly rejuvenating experience. We also offer in-cottage massages for a pampering stay. Prebooking is essential.

For those bringing furry companions, we have recently opened a secure two-acre dog exercise field at Mocketts Farm Cottages, free for all our overnight guests. Bookings must be made in advance.

If you're looking for a festive getaway, our cottages are available for 7+ days over Christmas and 5+ days over New Year. It's the perfect setting for a traditional family Christmas, complete with a beautifully decorated real Christmas tree. Our cottages can be hired individually or as a group, accommodating up to 53 guests.

Our cottages are also available for corporate bookings, providing the perfect base for that 'out of office' feeling. Delegates can enjoy a peaceful environment to inspire creativity. Easily accessible by car, follow the M2/M20 onto the A249. Once on the Isle of Sheppey, follow signs to Leysdown-on-Sea, and turn right at the large 'The Ferry House' sign. Follow the road all the way, following signs for 'The Ferry House' or 'Mocketts Farm Cottages' along the 4 mile 'Harty Ferry Road'. Turn right into Mocketts Farm Cottages, following the track straight for Harrier's Nest, Fleet Lodge, Marsh View and The Saltings (all with signs next to the front doors) or turn left before the pond for The Farmhouse.
