Many people require a ground floor bedroom if they find it difficult to go up a set of stairs, or maybe have bulky luggage which they would not want to be carrying up and down the stairs on arrival and departure.  Many Farm Stay properties offer a ground floor bedroom, some farmhouses may only be on the ground floor, whilst others exclusively let their downstairs bedrooms out to those who require them.
