Farm Stay UK has revealed the top search trends for staycations this summer, along with the most sought after spots in the UK for a getaway.
Based on Farm Stay UK web traffic, the most popular types of accommodation for summer 2022 are:
- Glamping with a hot tub
- Holidays with an indoor pool / cottages with pool
- Cottages sleeping 12+
- Places where you can feed the animals
“Looking for a little luxury is a consistently popular trend on our site and we are pleased to see it remain the top trend for summer 2022” said David Brown, a director of Farm Stay UK.
“Larger groups are also a key market for us and it’s encouraging to see that this trend is here to stay with extended families and groups of friends seeking out ways to spend more time together. With overseas travel being widely reported as chaotic in the news, it’s no surprise that many are still choosing to spend a holiday at home rather than abroad.
