Thorpe Camp is the former home to 617 Squadron, who are immortalised in an impressive memorial in the nearby village of Woodhall Spa. The world-renowned Red Arrows are based at RAF Scampton, whilst guided tours are available at The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Visitor Centre at RAF Coningsby. The annual RAF Waddington International Air Show is the largest of all RAF air shows.
