6 self catering cottages located in a peaceful valley near to Woolacombe, North Devon. We invite you to enjoy the walks through our private woodland and pond area from your doorstep. The sandy beach and stunning cliff paths are a 10 minute drive.

10 minutes drive away from the surfing beaches of Woolacombe / Putsborough and the lively village of Croyde, we have 6 well equipped cottages hidden in the peaceful, wooded Spreacombe valley. The cottages each sleep 4 or 5 guests over 3/4 bedrooms and are well equipped for your self catering holiday. Well behaved dogs are welcome to stay, you will love the excuse to walk around our woodlands and private pond. We are happy to offer both short breaks and longer holidays, please get in touch if you would like to book a break that is not standard.

Peaceful, relaxing.

Our family and dog friendly cottages are in the corner of a wood, surrounded by trees and farmland in the secluded Spreacombe Valley, 4 miles from Woolacombe, North Devon.

We are delighted when our guests enjoy following the countryside trails around the estate, perhaps bird watching or dog walking. We are looking forwards to showing off our wildlife pond and the adjoining RSPB Chapel Wood is always worth a visit. Our self catering properties are reasonably priced and well equipped, giving the opportunity for varying sizes of bookings from couples returning year after year, enjoying the peace of our location, to extended families in the school holidays enjoying beach games, surfing, walking and all that the North Devon area offers.

Additionally we are proud to offer our Old Barn Meeting Room for rental. Ideal for special interest groups who need a venue to share photographs / skills or other group holidays.

We are family friendly, accept dogs in most of our properties and offer the ability for our guests to walk through many of our fields and woodland to allow them to fully appreciate our special location. All you'd expect from Devon is on our doorstep - quaint villages, traditional pubs, rolling moorland, wooded valleys and breathtaking beaches.

Only 10 minutes from the beach,  Fuchsia is ideal for a weekend break or longer summer holiday.

The cottage welcomes well behaved dogs and is often taken by families although is not too large for a couple. 

This well equipped cottage sleeps 5 (over 4 bedrooms).  It is detached and all on one floor although does have a couple of entrance steps. 

Fuchsia has a private picnic table tucked away to the side but also use of the large, safe lawned area, shared with the other 5 cottages, 

Guests are welcome to walk in our private woods and fields or of course just relax around the cottage.

Ideal for lovers of the countryside and wildlife but still close to the beaches and cliff paths.

Hibiscus has a grey laminate floor in the lounge dining area, new electric heater and well equipped kitchen. 

This cottage is equipped for 4 guests over 3 bedrooms.  The sleeping arrangements are flexible as we have 2 double beds and one single. The lounge area has a three seater sofa and single tub chair. The dining table seats 4. 

There is a safe, lawned play area and many of our guests enjoy walking around our fields and woodland.

Typically Hibiscus is very quiet and peaceful in term time and attracts families in the school holidays.

Camellia is semi detached to Hibiscus, has a carpeted lounge and thermostatic electric heater.  There is a well equipped kitchen and seating for up to 4 guests.

Camellia  sleeps 4 guests over 3 bedrooms, although there are actually 3 single beds and a double to allow you different sleeping configurations. 

There is a safe, lawned play area and many of our guests enjoy walking around our fields and woodland or entering the RSPB Chapel Wood that is adjacent to our farm.

Directions to Spreacombe Gardens

Take the A361 Barnstaple to Ilfracombe road via Braunton. Drive through the village of Braunton and the smaller village of Knowle one mile beyond. Take the third turning on the left beyond Knowle where the sign says Spreacombe.

Follow this road straight along the valley bottom for three quarters of a mile until you come to the second right fork with another signpost to Spreacombe.  Bear right at this fork and proceed straight through the stone pillars in front of you.

Fifty yards further on the road forks again. Keep straight on (right), following the signs to Spreacombe gardens. (Please do not follow the signs to Spreacombe Manor.)
