Tredarrup Farm is a 17th Century smallholding of 7 acres, tucked into a hidden valley, with four luxury, dog-friendly self-catering barns providing a peaceful retreat.

Relax in idyllic rural surroundings, with magnificent views across Cornwall. The farm is home to pygmy goats, Zwartbles sheep, a pair of elderly geese, some runner ducks, numerous chickens and our rescue dog, Lucky Mac. The paddock, with its meadow and picnic areas, is a safe space for children to run and play and for dogs to chase tennis balls and rabbits.

All the barns carefully combine centuries of history with modern day luxuries and conveniences, such as ultra-fast wi-fi, Netflix and bean-to-cup coffee machines. Oak beams and stone walls envelope you and there are woodburning stoves, for cosy evenings by the fire. Dogs are truly welcomed here too and get the five star treatment, just like their owners.

Mill Barn is a spacious three bedroom barn with the wow factor. With flexible sleeping arrangements and two bathrooms (including one with a luxurious roll-top bath), it's perfect for both families and friends.

Stable Cottage is a single-storey two bedroom barn with two bathrooms (including one with a roll-top bath) and a private, enclosed garden with panoramic views.

Shippon is a 1 bedroom cottage for couples, with a large open-plan living room and luxury Hypnos bedroom with modern en-suite shower room.

The Wagon is a light and airy country cottage for two, with a king-size bedroom and en-suite shower room with luxurious rainfall shower.

The farm is ideally located for exploring North Cornwall and beyond and is easy to get to as well, being just 1 hour and 15 minutes from the M5. Nearby, discover Port Isaac, Padstow, Tintagel Castle, Boscastle and the Eden Project, whilst Charlestown and Fowey on the south coast are only around 30 minutes away. For keen walkers, there are some fabulous walks to choose from along the South West Coast Path and over Bodmin Moor. And foodies will be spoilt for choice, with some of the best dining options in the country on their doorstep, alongside award-winning artisan food and drink producers.  On booking, you’ll receive a comprehensive digital guidebook, jam-packed with our personal recommendations, hints, tips and ideas to make your holiday to Cornwall the most relaxing and best yet!

    Additional Directions Information

    • For Google Map users, search for Tredarrup Farm Holiday Cottages and this will bring you straight to our door.
    • For What3Words users, we can be found at ///inflame.handfuls.deeds
    • From Exeter: take A30 for Okehampton/Bodmin Shortly after Launceston turn off, signed A395 Wadebridge/North Cornwall, which will bring you to a small roundabout. Turn right, then immediately at next roundabout turn left, signposted A395 Camelford/Wadebridge. Go through Cold Northcott past a wind farm. Just after the little village of Davidstow the A395 hits the A39 at a T-junction - turn left, direction Camelford/Wadebridge. Follow the A39 to Camelford. When you get to Camelford go straight through (heading towards Wadebridge), come out of town, passing the Co-op supermarket on your left hand side then a BP garage on your left hand side. Continue straight ahead on A39 and straight through the village of Helstone – don’t take the Michaelstow turning in Helstone. Carry on out of Helstone until the road goes downhill and opens out into 3 lanes, then take left turn to Michaelstow – opposite the right hand turn to Trewalder (if you get to Knightsmill & Allen Valley Slate on A39 you’ve gone too far, but you can easily turn around at this point and head back up the hill). Continue along the lane towards Michaelstow for 0.9 miles until you see the Treveighan sign on your left hand side with the Methodist church (painted red woodwork) on your right hand side. Do not turn right into Chapel Lane at this point (despite what your satnav may tell you). Instead continue ahead and, after approx 200 metres, on your left hand side, you will see the entrance to Tredarrup (public footpath sign, stones with blue enamel signs). Come up the farm track for approx. 300 metres and through the gates to your right.
    • From South & West Cornwall and Bodmin Parkway: As you approach Bodmin take the A389 towards Wadebridge Continue past the Borough Arms pub and the Camel Trail on your left then turn right onto the B3266 towards Camelford Follow this road for approx. 5 miles passing the Cedar Croft Nursery and St. Teath turning on your left, then as the road bends to the right take the left turning straight in front of you to Michaelstow (there are signs at the entrance of this lane for Button Meats and Michaelstow Holiday Park) Continue down the lane for approx. 1 mile. Pass Treveighan B&B sign on your left and immediately afterwards turn right up our farm track (there are blue Tredarrup signs at the turning), continue through the granite pillars and up the track for 300 yards and enter through the gates on your right.
