Splash Farm Shepherds’ Huts nestled in the rolling countryside of the South Downs National Park on a working Dairy Farm. Located at Burpham Arundel, West Sussex.

Our charming and cosy Shepherds Huts provide a warm and inviting retreat for up to four guests. They offer the perfect escape for those seeking a taste of traditional family farm life or simply wanting to enjoy the fresh countryside air. Just a 5 minute stroll away, you'll find the local pub, "The George", and a village playground along with plenty of opportunities for exploration, whether on foot or by bicycle.
I addition to our beautiful main hut, Tansy, we also offer Ethel, our delightful second hut. Though smaller, Ethel is perfectly designed with two trundle beds, making it ideal or children or larger parties in need of extra space.
Don't miss a visit to our " Cart Shed Milk Vending Room" in the farmyard, where we offer a selection of our own farm fresh produce including raw and pasteurised milk, milkshakes, eggs, homemade cake, and meat. We also have a " bean to cup" coffee machine, perfect for a freshly brewed coffee or a rich hot chocolate to enjoy during your stay.

With spectacular views of Arun valley from the glampsite and direct access to the South Downs Way – when you’re looking to exchange urban life for a taste of country living, things don’t get much more rural than Splash Farm, sitting pretty in the tiny Sussex village of Burpham. Set in the fully enclosed corner of a field adjacent to the farmyard. To get you going, your first morning’s breakfast is provided – plus an added treat of homemade brownies to keep the munchies away. Anything else you need can be sourced in "The Cart Shed milk vending room" or shops in Arundel (10 minutes’ drive). Once installed in your cosy hideaway, stroll down to the local pub (five minutes’ walk), head for the coast at Littlehampton beach (15 minutes’ drive) or be farmers for the day: the owners – the fourth generation to farm here – are happy for you to watch the milking sessions. High-vis jackets are provided to keep you all safe, and all hands must be washed after visiting the farmyard. One well-behaved small/medium dog is welcome at an additional cost of £20 per stay - with towelling robes provided for your furry pals in case of any muddy mishaps while you’re all out walking. Fire pit on site and gas BBQ facilities available for small extra charge. Happy to provide supper or cream tea and cake if booked in advance.

The 2 huts come as one package sleeping up to 4 people at one time set in the fully enclosed corner of a field adjacent to the farmyard. With all the necessary mod cons and facilities, ensuring a perfect stay in the countryside. Plus, to get you settled in, enjoy complimentary homemade brownies and breakfast hamper included – croissants, butter, jam, cereal selection, yogurt, orange juice and fresh milk. One small/medium dog is welcome for an additional £20 per stay.

Full English Breakfast (sausages, bacon, eggs, bread and baked beans), these will be left in the huts on arrival, together with all the equipment for cooking yourself - £12.00 per person

Afternoon Tea (2 scones with clotted cream and jam and a selection of home made cake) - £10.00 per person

BBQ (cooking charcoal, sausages, burgers, bread rolls, homemade coleslaw and green salad) together with all the utensils you will need - £17.50
