The Gwili Steam railway is a standard guage steam railway that runs for 4 miles (an 8 mile round trip) through a beautiful wooded valley near Carmarthen along part of  the original mainline from Carmarthen to Aberystwyth..It is run by volunteers railway enthusiasts.
