Dog Friendly B&Bs and Cottages Sussex
There are a number of activities you can do with your dog whilst on holiday in Sussex - Chichester and Brighton are two excellent places to visit, as are the Sussex South Downs and the Sussex Weald.
Chichester is one of Britain’s oldest cities; it dates back to Roman times some evidence of which can still be found and offers an enjoyable day out in a quaint and historic setting.
The city of Brighton offers a slightly different experience, having been voted one of the top 10 city beach break destinations in the world. Between May and September dogs are restricted on some beaches but many across the county are still open to dogs (please check before you head off anywhere)
If cities do not appeal to you or your dog then Sussex still has much to offer. Sussex Weald, an area of ancient woodland is a great and unspoiled place to enjoy a long walk with a dog.
The same can be said of The South Downs which run through the heart of Sussex and offer stunning scenery to all dog walkers. Relatively unpopulated given their location in the South East of England, the South Downs are an unspoilt area of magnificent scenery, perfect for dog walkers.
