David's Organic Farm - Gwarmacwydd, is a truly exceptional place. It offers comfortable cottages, an idyllic location, and hundreds of acres for you to explore.

A destination in itself, providing an abundance of unique and exciting experiences, all within our 450-acre estate.

We are centrally located in South West Wales, with easy access to everything in Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, and Ceredigion.

The Estate - Central is Gwarmacwydd house, built in 1841 by the rumbustious revered Reverend Richard Bowen Jones, as his Victorian country home in a beautiful parkland setting. The estate, spanning 450 acres, is a testament to the benefits of organic farming practices.

The land is home to 40 acres of woodlands and 2.5 miles of the River Taf, offering visitors a chance to explore and appreciate the wonders of nature.

The Soil Association has found that organic farming practices lead to a remarkable increase of 50% more plants, insects and birds. Visitors are encouraged to take farm walks to witness this rich biodiversity first-hand and learn more about the benefits of sustainable farming practices.

The estate is home to a variety of wild animals, providing a unique opportunity for visitors to observe and appreciate wildlife in their natural habitat. The riverbank is a peaceful and serene spot where visitors can enjoy fly fishing and catch salmon, sewin and trout.

Explore the estate, and create unforgettable memories while experiencing the beautiful sights and sounds of nature. You can take a walk along the old disused railway line, which offers an excellent nature trail. For those who enjoy a challenge, follow the rubbing stones up to the viewpoint overlooking the valley and across to the Preseli hills.

We suggest visiting us at different times of the year to fully experience each season. Enjoy summer picnics and barbecues in the gardens. Experience; the abundance of newly sprouted wildflowers and wild garlic in the spring, the aroma of freshly cut hay and a profusion of butterflies in the summer, endless carpets of fallen leaves in autumn, and the fresh, crisp, misty winter mornings. In every season, the estate is an ideal place to unwind, relax, and connect with nature.

Come for a week or a short break, we are open all year round!
