Walk down to the river to see abundant birds, wildlife and wild flora. Fishing also available.
The cottage is on the upper level of the 17th Century barn. It is accessed by Welsh slate steps with oak banisters.
It has been recently restored to a very high standard, retaining all the original oak beams complimented by Welsh oak floors and the original stone walls. The farm is in Red Kite country and is bordered by the River Towy with one mile of sewin and salmon fishing on both banks (to be discussed with us).
A superbly equipped kitchen with built in electric cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. Sitting area with comfortable leather sofa and chairs, colour TV/DVD and video; and an electric log effect cast iron style black stove.
Downstairs utility area with washing machine/tumble drier and deep-freeze for successful anglers.
Sleeps four, two bedrooms; one double en-suite and one twin bedded with private bathroom.
Full oil central heating and electricity is inclusive. Bed linen and towels provided. Sorry no pets. We also do bed and breakfast in the farmhouse if anyone wishes to join guests for a few days.
Llandovery is a small market town of historic importance. Coastal resorts of Tenby and Aberystwyth are easily accessible by car.
Places to visit nearby: Gold Mines, RSPB Dinas Reserve, Carreg Cennen Castle, Llyn Brianne & Elan Valley Resevoirs, Abergglasney & National Botanic Gardens, Brecon Beacons, Red Kite Feeding Staton.
