We have a flexible changeover day and welcome visitors of all ages.
The Coach House can sleep 4 very comfortably with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. We have attempted to keep it simple yet pretty, functional and reasonably sophisticated, but not over decorated. main bathroom
Upstairs the main bedroom occupies the same floor area as the sitting room and has a super king-size bed which can be converted into two singles. It has its own bathroom with bath (large), basin and lavatory.
Additional sleeping accommodation can be arranged by using the couch in the sitting room which converts into a single bed - this is ideal for an extra child or visiting adult - or the sofa in the sitting room will also pull out to a double bed.
The twin bedded bedroom downstairs has level access with the rest of the ground floor and has an adjoining bathroom with power shower, basin and lavatory.
Both of the bathrooms have heated towel-rails. All bed linen and towels are provided and included in the rental fee.
The kitchen is modern and fully equipped for self catering. There is a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, oven and microwave. (Tea towels are provided).
A variety of utensils is available and tableware enough for eight settings - to include your guests.
The sitting room occupies the main body of the building and has a flat screen t.v. sofa and comfy chairs. There is a large pine table for eating at (with a drawer full of brochures on local attractions).
The focal point of the sitting room is the wood burning stove, with wood supplied in a very large log basket.sitting room
A night store heater downstairs, electric radiators in every room with control panels and also a fan heater, ensure no-one will be cold.
We have attempted to ensure the Coach House (and Boords Farm) have as many green credentials as possible. The latest on the Coach House is the addition of solar panels to heat the water. During the first Summer this has been very successful. (There is an additional immersion heater if necessary!).
