We are ideally located for touring the Dales with many scenic locations less than 1 hours drive away. These include: Skipton Castle, Leeds- Liverpool canal at Gargrave ( great for those who like to walk on the flat), Settle to Carlisle railway with the amazing viaduct at Horon-in- Ribblesdale, market town of Hawes producing the famous Wensleydale cheese, Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Castle.
Bolton and Fountains Abbey are both spectacular, Harrogate, spa town, with its famous Bettys tearoom. Haworth- home of the Bronte's and its famous steam railway (location of the filming of the "Railway children") and many more places of interest.
Lindon House was convered in 1978 from a Dales barn and retained many of its features including oak beams and stone work.
We have a small licenced bar, large guest lounge with open fire and a spacious dining room.

We serve a set evening dinner at 7.30 pm ( except Thursdays, Sundays and a couple of weeks at lambing time when Ian is busy with the sheep). Dinner includes- main course, sweet and coffee and Petit Fours, all home made!
For example: fillet of pork with an apple and mustard sauce, fresh market vegetables; peach and almond tart served with a mango coulis.
Sirloin steak, brandy pepper sauce; Dutch apple pie
Chicken breast wrapped in bacon served in a cream sherry and mushroom sauce; strawberry short bread hearts
Carrot and walnut tart for those who prefere a vegeterian option; sticky toffee pudding another popular dessert.
