Our medieval farmhouse is set in the midst of our family farm. There is direct access to the coast path which is just a few minutes walk down the picturesque lane and across a field. From this tranquil walk there are amazing views for miles up and down the rugged coast and across to Lundy.
This is a much-loved family home and a very special place to stay. Full of character with mellow oak floors, massive beams warmed by central heating and an Aga in the kitchen with the option of wood-burning stoves on cooler days our farmhouse offers plenty of space to spread out and relax. Downstairs there is a large kitchen/breakfast living room, a useful cloakroom and utility room, separate dining room and another sitting room as well as a cosy 'snug' with loads of books and games to enjoy. Please note that the 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms upstairs may not be suitable for small children or guests with impaired mobility due to the half-spiral stone stairs.
When you take the drive down the lane through an undulating field (which is all that remains of a medieval village) with the sea view behind the farmstead, you will realise what a special place this is to relax, unwind and escape from the pressures of modern day living.
Staying in the Farmhouse is a unique experience in itself, in particular the stone staircase from the dining room which gives access to the landing and the three farmhouse bedrooms
