"Luxury without the faff" is how this place has been described by many happy glampers since Kingfisher Lakes came to life in 2017. Enjoy a super-easy Glamping experience for all the family; the comfy, spacious safari tents, yurts and fabulous shared facilities have all you need for a hassle-free trip away whilst being immersed in nature. All the focus is on the beautiful lakes (the tents around one; the stunning lodges with hot tubs around the other) where kayaking adventures can be had by one and all! Watch the ever-changing views across the water, and perhaps catch a glimpse of the magical Kingfishers!

Situatued off a country lane close to the village of Brandesburton (which has fantastic places to eat, drink, play and spa!) this little hidden gem on our working potato farm, is the ideal spot to base yourselves for an unforgettable stay in East Yorkshire. There's plenty to do to create the best memory-making holiday whether you're with family, just the two of you, or with a large group enjoying the whole site to yourselves. Kingfisher Lakes is close enough to the breath-taking coastline and beaches (all just a 20-30 minutes' drive away) for walks and wildlife-spotting, as well as the beautiful market town of Beverley, yet nestled in a very rural, peaceful place to retreat in is the best of both worlds! Most guests hire the 2-3 seater kayaks for their stay so they can paddle around making their own fun (£45 per kayak per weekend stay).

Our two Safari Tents, ‘Hares Hideout and Swallows Snug‘ are lovely tents by the lakeside, with a large covered deck area to enjoy outdoor living. They really do feel very homely with two separate bedrooms; one with a double bed and the second with another double bed with single bunk above.

There is a large living area with a small double futon sofa bed, as well as an amazing log-burning stove to keep you cosy, a fridge and kettle, electric lighting, and plenty of storage. All you have to do is relax straight into your hassle-free glamping trip.

For guests who use a wheelchair this is the glamping tent for you, it has a ramp for easy access and wider doors into one of the bedrooms, it's also only 10metres to your very own accessible washroom just over the patio area.

With a large covered deck area outside, you can spend your time watching the stunning sunsets over the fields beyond. This tent is also the closest to the kitchen barn for easy reach of water and cooking facilities. All tents have their own BBQ provided.

Barn Owl Bell Tent is a spacious one room glamping tent with two double beds as well as a small double sofa bed.

There is a fridge and small kettle as well as electric lighting; however no log-burning stove inside like the other tents. It stays nice and warm in there overnight in the Summer and we provide plenty of cosy bedding and blankets for the colder nights. Warm bedding is provided on all the beds required for the number of people in your tent.

A large, spacious outdoor area is provided where you can use your private BBQ and enjoy the peace and quiet. You are close to the campsite kitchen however, if you prefer not to cook on your holiday there are many options for takeaways and eating out locally.
