The Moretons offers quality self-catering cottages set in beautiful grounds on 35 acres of open farmland. The cottages sleep up to 11 and are located down a private drive just outside Bredon village—close to Tewkesbury, Cheltenham Spa and Evesham. On-site facilities include five acres of gardens, two heated indoor swimming pools with jacuzzis (additional charge), parking, WiFi and play area with children’s playhouse. The Moretons is the perfect place to stay for a romantic break, a family holiday or a get-together with friends. Village pubs serving food, a grocery store, a post office, a beauty salon and a cafe are within easy walking distance. For walkers, sections of several way-marked walking routes and national trails are close by.

10 miles from Cheltenham and 50 miles from Oxford, The Moretons is ideal for a Cotswold holiday.

The cottages date from 1821 and are set in landscaped gardens on 35 acres of open farmland on the outskirts of the villages of Bredon and Kemerton. Bredon Hill is just a short walk away and the many attractions of the Cotswolds and the heart of England are on the doorstep.

On-site, we have two fully tiled heated indoor swimming pools with jacuzzis, free WiFi and plenty of parking.

Younger (and older) guests can visit our heated playhouse with resident teddy bear—the two-storey house is fully furnished with play kitchen, gallery bedroom and secret door. Outside, enjoy the play area (with swings, slide and climbing frame) or play a game of badminton, mini golf or croquet on the lawn.

The gardens are extensive and away from the road. There is plenty of room for children to play in safety and without disturbing other guests. In season, pick apples, pears, cherries and plums from our orchard.

There are three pubs with restaurants within walking distance. Bredon village is on the river Avon and has a post office, beauty salon, fish and chip shop and hairdresser. The nearest town is Tewkesbury, where there are supermarkets and many small shops and cafés. Stratford-upon-Avon, Cheltenham Spa and the Malvern Hills are just a short drive away. Farther afield visit Bath Spa, Bristol, Oxford, Birmingham and Wales.

Via M5: Leave the M5 at junction 9 (Tewkesbury). Take the A46 towards Evesham. After 2 miles turn left at the Aston Cross traffic lights and follow the B4079 to Bredon. Turn right towards Kemerton at the T-junction at the beginning of Bredon village. After approximately 400 metres turn left into The Moretons' entrance.

Via Evesham: Take the A46 towards Cheltenham and Tewkesbury until you reach the Aston Cross traffic lights. At this junction turn right and follow the B4079 to Bredon. Turn right towards Kemerton at the T-junction at the beginning of Bredon village. After approximately 400 metres turn left into The Moretons' entrance.

Via Tewkesbury: Take the B4080 towards Bredon and Kemerton. Travel through Bredon village past the village hall. We are the first turning on the left after Bredon Hill surgery. Turn left into The Moretons' entrance.
