Warleigh Barton - Tiny House

Set in our own 480 acres of rolling farmland, The tiny house is in one of the most beautiful positions on the farm. We are within the Tamar Valley National Landscape and on the Tamara Coast to Coast way. Fully self contained and off grid. A touch of luxury, Kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom. Outside the views are heavenly and the peace and quiet will enable a thorough rest. A short walk to the estuary and our own private beach with floating pontoon and wild swimming . Bring your paddle board for an adventurous explore or just paddle to the pub on the other side of the estuary at Bere Ferrers. You may even see an Osprey from the decking - we have 3 Osprey nest platforms on the farm.

Beautiful, unique, elegant hand crafted tiny home in an absolutely stunning location on our farm here on the Devon/Cornwall border. This little house is entirely off grid with a fully functional little kitchen with gas hob and a bathroom with shower. The large solar panel provides electric lighting and a gas boiler gives you instant hot water. Large Kingsize bed with a super comfortable mattress. There is oodles of space outside to stretch out and completely relax with no near neighbours. You might see deer from the hut who regularly graze the lawn. Owls, egrets, and Osprey are amongst the bird life spotted from the decking but there are also kestrels, avocets and warblers for the keen ornithologists. If you would like to walk, then the Tamara coast to coast runs right through the farm only a couple of fields away from the little house. If you would like to wild swim then you can do so from our own private pontoon. Alternatively you can just sit by the estuary, light a fire and relax with a glass of your favourite vino.

This is the perfect retreat for couples looking for a romantic getaway, solitary travellers, artists seeking inspiration from nature or friends craving peace and just needing time away. The hut is also great for paddleboarders or wild swimmers with access to our own private pontoon on the shores of the Tavy estuary. Its usual to see deer, foxes, owls, bats and a whole spectrum of bird life. This location is a bird watchers paradise with a bird hide a short walk away – we even have migrating Osprey pass through. Surrounded by nature but certainly not ‘roughing’ it, you will have full (hot water) bathroom facilities and a king size bed to allow a great nights sleep!
