Welcome to our Georgian home set in the picturesque Teme Valley near historic Ludlow, with easy access to explore Herefordshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire having glorious views to Clee Hills.

Rachel and David assure you of a friendly welcome and a comfortable stay at Haynall Villa. Our 1820's home has oak stairs which lead to the 3 guests bed rooms all en-suite or with private bathroom. 2 bathrooms are new for the 2011 season. The rooms are large and comfortably furnished.

With all the usual extras:  digital TV, hot drinks facilities, hair dryers , access to Wi-fi etc. Breakfast is usually a relaxed time and is served in a seperate dining room. For breakfast we serve mainly home grown and local produce with home made jams and marmalade.

Choose from a selection of cereals, fruit, fruit juices, followed by the freshly cooked breakfast of your choice. Drinks and toast. For the evening we have several good pubs nearby.

Haynall Villa is less than a mile from the A456, Burford to Woofferton road along a quiet lane and set back with ample space to park. Set in the Teme Valley, the farmhouse has a large attractive garden, looking out on the Clee Hills.

Haynall Villa is ideally situated for country walks around the Parish of Little Hereford, fishing in our privately owned carp pool, bird watching or visiting the working arable farm. Nearby are walks in the Mortimer forest. We are a convenient base from which to explore the historic town of Ludlow and other local attractions in a district where history and manmade beauty combine with wonderful landscapes. We are a convenient base from which to explore the picturesque Teme Valley with its timeless villages and market towns, notably Ludlow. The historic town of Ludlow is also known for  it's summer festival of food and drink. For a full program of events go to my web site www.haynallvilla.co.uk and look at the events calander, there is an event or market most week-ends(sat & Sun) as well as markets on weekdays. On Mondays and alternate Fridays one of the largest livestock markets in England is held at the modern auction mart ludlow.

Close by are several fine houses and gardens: Berrington Hall and Croft Castle owned by the National Trust, and Stokesay Castle, Hampton Court Gardens,Stocktonbury Gardens. Less than an hour's drive away is the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge Gorge and, further south, the Severn Valley Railway. At a similar distance are the cathedral cities of Hereford and Worcester, the Malvern Hills and nearer to Haynall Villa, the South Shropshire Hills, both the Clee Hills and Church Stretton with the beautiful Cardingmill Valley. In addition there are many other attractions, activities and trails such as the Black and White Village Trail.

This double bedded at the front of the house,  looks towards Worcestershire down the Teme Valley.  The view over the garden across our fields to the tree line of the west brook,  if you are lucky you may see a barn owl hunting at twilight along the hedgerow.

 This room has an en-suite shower room . Digital TV and tea/coffee facilities, also acess to a range of other drinks. Free Wi-fi, hair dryer etc

Twin bedded room with superb views over mixed farming land towards the Clee Hills of Shropshire.  The best view from the house.

This is a comfortable room and being on the back of the house is again a quiet room.

This room has a new for 2011 season shower room with a little luxury of heated towel rail and mirror.

Facilities include tea & coffee facilities, TV with Freeview.  Hair dryer, free wi-fi etc.

Family room with exclusive use of private bathroom next door to the room. ( only a few steps away) This bath room has been totally renewed for the 2011 season with bath, shower, vanity unit & toilet and a little luxury of heated towel rail and mirror.. A bath robe is available for guests use.

This room looks over the garden towards Herefordshire. Over the garden to the rear of the house with lawns, flower bed and veg patch and onto fields and woods.

The family  room is two rooms linked together, access to the second room, a twin  is  through the double room, down 3 steps and made private with a curtain. This room is often booked by families, or groups of friends, or friends who like more privacy than using the twin.

PRICING: THE PRICE  QUOTED IS FOR 2 ADULTS SHARING, WHEN WE WELCOME CHILDREN THERE WILL BE AN EXTRA CHARGE FOR THEM.

This room has a wash basin in the room. TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Hair dryer, wi-fi etc.

Additional Directions Information

 From Ludlow:  Leave the town going south signposted Hereford.At A49 turn right travelling south. At Wofferton turn left onto A456 signposted for Tenbury Wells and Kidderminster. Take the 2nd right turn onto a country lane and follow the sighnposts for Leysters and Middleton on the Hill. We are approx 1m along the lane on the right hand side.

 From M5:  Leave the motorway at Junction 5.  A38.Take 3rd exit towards Droitwich, at trafic lights join right lane and go straight through, do not turn for Alcester. At industrial area island go straight across continue on the A38, look out for a slip road signposted Tenbury, take this which brings you to a roundabout. Leave the roundabout by 3rd exit  A4133, follow this through Ombersley and on to Holt Fleet, and along to a T junction Take the right turn onto the A443 and follow this along to Newnham Bridge where you join the A456 ( You may not notice this) follow the A456 past Tenbury Wells and on the Little Hereford. At Little Hereford look out for a nasty corner then the Temeside Inn, you will now cross the River Teme, turn immediatly left onto a country lane, follow the signs without turning off for Leysters and Middleton on the Hill we are approx. 1 mile from the A456 and the Temeside Inn.
