Eight child friendly cosy cottages nestled in the Glynn Valley Woods. We are surrounded by rolling hills, forests and animals galore with excellent onsite facilities.

Eight beautiful cosy cottages in the perfect location for both coastlines and many of Cornwall’s top attractions. Fall in love during interactive animal feeding and egg collecting. Scale the outdoor fort, enjoy a game of tennis, tire the kids out in soft play and explore the nature trails and forest walks. Finally a dip in the warm indoor pool and Hot Tub. Whatever the weather, Glynn Barton has you covered.

In the summer spring open the large windows or enjoy the sunny aspect on the patio area outside and cottage green. There’s plenty of space and light in the beautiful, airy double bedroom, with iron bedstead and lots of room for a travel cot/toddler bed as required.

The bathroom is elegantly fitted to complete this idyllic accommodation, ideal for young families starting out on their family holiday adventures or couples enjoying the serenity of a Cornish country break.

The master bedroom is a super-sized bedroom with attractive king size iron bedstead and delightful double aspect through generous windows. The large twin bedroom is ideal for people of any age, as it provides plenty of space to share. Either room being able to accommodate a travel cot or two, Upstairs, is a fantastic substantial open-plan living space with original character open beamed ceiling. It has windows to two sides for ample natural light and is the perfect space to enjoy plenty of family fun or spread out and relax into two ample sofas in front of the gas cast-iron stove in addition to the central heating . Entering through to the entrance hall, you’ll find a delightful master bedroom with a double iron bedstead with plenty of room to unwind and relax after a busy day, a touch of luxury with an en-suite shower. A handy walk-in cupboard for ample storage. Also on this level is a lovely twin room bedroom, with wicker chair by the window to welcome in the day! Upstairs is a beautiful beamed open planned living room with a fixed child safety gate. In addition to the central heating a gas cast-iron stove provides charm and a welcoming glow. When the sun has set and night draws in, close the curtains and snuggle down on the ample sofas in front of the feature gas cast iron stove, with your favourite book. The bathroom has space for the kids to splash about or, when they are safely tucked up in their beds, light some tea lights and pour a glass of wine for a relaxing bath after an exhilarating day.

The Old Stables is fully central heated and boasts two double bedrooms with pretty iron bedsteads whilst children sleep soundly in their cosy bunk bed room.

Both bedrooms enjoy fantastic views down the valley & across the Cornish countryside. Main bedroom has a lovely double iron bedstead from where you can survey the views, whilst the 2nd bedroom has twin beds with ample space.

Bed 1 has an elegant iron bedstead, whilst Bed 2 includes a 3ft wide bunk bed suitable for any big kids! Being centrally heated the cottage is great all year round especially with the indoor pool.This enchanting cottage is perfect for a romantic retreat or a cosy family getaway.

Additional Directions Information

Glynn Barton Cottages are located on the road between Fletchersbridge and Cardinham. From the A30 follow signs to Bodmin leaving at the exit signed for A38 to Bodmin, Liskeard and Crematorium. Continue on the A38 towards Liskeard taking a left at the roundabout. Then take the first left (another roundabout) signed Fletchersbridge, Cardinham and Crematorium. Go through Fletchersbridge and continue up the hill. The entrance to the drive is located on the right hand side approximately one mile after the bridge with iron railings. Go into the woods and bear right following signs to Glynn Barton. After 2/3rds mile along drive you will come down a hill with the car park on your right and cottages on your left. Please use the parking area above the main car park if you are staying in the Store House. You will find trolleys in the carpark to move your luggage.
