Two spacious self catering cottages on our farm, warm and well equipped with all the home comforts. Adults enjoy leisurely breakfasts while the children collect eggs and feed animals. Free pony rides and playroom packed with toys are the top attractions at Bampfield. Our location is unique you can experience the delights of the countryside as well as local market shopping in Barnstaple, famous North Devon beaches and Exmoor National Park only 15 mins drive.

This charming cottage was built in the 17th century and has retained many of its original features, with oak lintels and wooden beams. The cottage has plenty of character and everything you need for rest and relaxation. It has a most spectacular view of rolling hills and beyond to the Atlantic Ocean.

The Haven has an open plan kitchen/lounge with a central fireplace. The kitchen has a dishwasher, cooker, fridge and microwave. The lounge is spacious, with television and DVD.

Downstairs you will find one double bedroom with ensuite shower, toilet and basin; one twin room; one bunk-bed room; and a bathroom with bath, shower, basin and toilet.

All linen and towels are included, along with the heating and electricity. A laundry room is next to The Haven, with a washing machine, dryer and freezer.

The Old Granary has its own unique character, retaining many exposed beams, and is furnished to a high standard. To ensure your comfort at any time of the year the cottage is centrally heated and has a woodburner.

The kitchen boasts a lovely old pine table for those family occasions, and is fully equipped with microwave, fridge and dishwasher. A laundry room is next to the cottage, with washing machine, dryer and freezer.

The lounge has a woodburner and television, DVD and video. Features incude a high wooden ceiling and French windows which open on to the courtyard.

Downstairs are two delightful bedrooms, one double and one bunkbed room, and toilet with basin. Upstairs is the master bedroom (double) with ensuite shower, toilet and basin, also a large bathroom and fourth bedroom with a choice of either twin beds or a king-size bed. All linen and towels are included.

Car arrival:
From the M5 Junction27 take the A361 to Barnstaple. Travel along this road for 3/4 hour and 2 miles before Barnstaple turn left to Landkey. Take the next left and left again. (over the A361) following signs to Goodleigh. Turn right when you reach Goodleigh. Go past the pub, then turn left and go up to the top of the hill. At the top go straight on, ignore the right hand bend. Bampfield is at the bottom on the right.
